My team would be as follows
1.morgan
2.mckernan. 3.hampsey. 4.j.munroe
5.mckenna. 6.harte. 7.sludden
8kilpatrick. 9.kennedy
10.mcgeary. 11.burns. 12.meyler
13.mccurry. 14.m.donnelly. 15.mcshane
Team has lack of height espc in full back line, play first 15-20, see how it goes drop matty into sweeper, keeping the goals out is crucial.. Been saying all year mckenna has to play half back, played cameo at 5 but is little naive.. Seen too much of mccann at 5 with no dividends. Can play crucial role from bench. Dropped mcnamee because of kerrys agility and speed in full forward and he's cart horse in croker.
For me, and for the goal threat alone, RONAN ONEILL HAS TO START

I also thought Coney was very good when he came in last night, got on a lot of ball, was very composed and spread the play well.

Big Catterson was the man man for Castlederg. Think he then transferred to Drumquin in later years.Quote from: LeoMc on November 25, 2019, 10:12:15 AMQuote from: the_daddy on November 25, 2019, 09:48:07 AMGood man. Will this be allowed to happen as Dregish is part of a different parish? Any similar examples in the past?
Castlederg?

A couple of Special General Meetings taking place in Tyrone tomorrow night. Both Dregish and Newtownstewart meeting with their club members to vote on the amalgamation of the two clubs.
What's the mood on the ground Halfback7?
Pretty much a done deal by the sounds of it, just have to go through the formalities now.
A few from the Newtown camp not entirely happy, but majority in favour of it. Haven't heard anything from the Dregish side, but I'd imagine they'll be all behind it as it's pretty amalgamation or fold completely for them at this stage.
Win/Win for Dregish, dont have to fold. Might be a hit on newtons pride needing players from Dregish, but really, bar numbers at training i cant see them gaining anything else from Dregish.
In a year or two, all will be forgotten as they'll be one club, push on and develop.
Nothing beats mergers like a bit of success.
