Galway trained in pearse stadium last night Tuesday, was only looking through the gate but no sign of the injured players and Shane Walsh did not participate in the training but was on the sideline.😳

Well karma does exist and all the dodgy frees mayo got last week went the way of the rossies today.Galway will not fancy the trip to ros ommon, they certainly have an Indian sign over us.

So much for my information and comer not starting 🙄 a miraculous recovery!!! He was probably one of galways better players.Mayo won't be too worried after galways display I would imagine, but if Mayo's shooting doesn't improve Galway could have an outside chance.

Padraig joyce summed the loss afterwards when he said basic mistakes by his team which he couldnt understand why they made them and giving away possession cheaply. He said they had trained well and hard for the match and wouldnt accept lack of a game prior to this as any excuse.he dually said the very best to mayo as connacht champions and hoped they do well.i think as supporters we should take it on the chin and in fairness only for powers great save which kept us in the game, the finish may not have been as close.

Is it possible to put a pic of the programme teams on here?
I'm really looking for a "tech" class on how to do it.😁

At the end ofthe day does anyone really care who wins either championship in that will they ever be recognised as "real" all ireland champions? As a galway man our main hope is in hurling and they have a sort of back door but even if they went on and won it just dont think it would mean as much.Am I alone in my negative thoughts?😊

Its gas what a week in football does last week Tyrone done a great job of beating a top class team as in Kerry, this week they are being talked about as relegation contenders for fecks sake they came within 3 pts a man down hit the post a couple of times I don't think they will be relegated and the scoreline is a bit deceiving from yesterday how good galway are will be seen when mayo & dubs come to town.

Good to see galway playing the way they are training forward if at all possible, once I think galway bay radio said the ball was played backwards in first half.
Rob finnerty had a stormer for ucg but failed by 1pt.
Nice start to the year and over 7000 to see it.
There will be some panel to choose from when all available, hope management have the balls to make the right decisions and forget about club loyalty.
Is it time to let comer loose at midfield?
If Michael Murphy can do it why not.
Lots to ponder on,roll on the league!😊

Met a few of the players on the Sunday after the defeat, drowning their sorrows ,while not saying too much you could read between the lines that since that loss in the league against Tyrone where they stuck to the system and lost and again in the connacht final going 5 pts up sticking to the system and losing meant they didnt believe in what they were trying to achieve.Did people notice Kieran's molloys gesture to the sideline after scoring his point, frustration at not being brought on earlier.
Their has been two camps operating in this panel since early in the year when the younger players were trying to get a player revolt against k.walsh but the older players wouldnt back them.personally I wouldnt blame Walsh but the
paddy  tally influence was badly missed, the swarm defence so in evidence last year was non existent anyway it is what it is hopefully move on and give it another go in 2020 when we are
European capital of culture😁😁
