Surely the likes of Micko and Sean Boylan would be shoo-ins, assuming such an institution would recognize managers?

Someone mentioned Martin McHugh... first entry from Donegal would have to be McEniff.

t'was me... can't vouch for mceniff as a player as i never saw him play.

McHugh and McEniff are barred as you broke the rules of the nomination.  :D

anti-donegal bias as usual.

Ciaran McManus, Ciaran Mcdonald  -  Mullane and Tony Browne for Hurling

On what basis would Ciaran McManus or Ciaran McDonald be candidates for this?

Sorry , should they have 10 All Ireland Medals? They lead thier County for many years, excellent players.

Anyways why ae you asking me. somebody mentioned Kevin O Brien from Wicklow, why didn't you highlight that?

DuffleKing

Cos I only read the last post and commented on it...

rodney trotter

Good idea to read the whole thread then...

DuffleKing

Why, is it full of other pearls of wisdom like yours?

rodney trotter

Well read the first page of the thread. Declan Browne is mentioned, would that not give you an idea, that you don't have to name players from Dublin, Kerry , Tyrone. But you didn't bother reading so that was your problem.

DuffleKing

I am blissfully unaware of any such problem. Would McDonald & McManus make their respective provincial halls of fame were there one? Would they make their county HOF?

Who know's its all about opinion ain't it.

rodney trotter

Obviously they would make their County hall of fame, there is no such provincial one.

I imagine a Hall of Fame should be for the cream of the crop. Not just lads who happened to be very good players for their county. In that case we would need a jumbo hanger sized hall of fame to fit everyone in.
