Over the Bar

to being without Brian Dooher for the Meath clash...according to  today's UTV teletext page 476!

How often do these clampets update their GAA page? every 2 months?

Oh and by the way Mickey himself has been offerd the Tyrone job until 2010!  great news!

Kerry Mike

The fecker, we will never get a chance of beating him now....

Anyway if its true his status as one of the great managers of the modern game is assured after leading Tyrone to the promised land twice. There will however always be the feeling that he should have won more with that team full of outstanding players, but tragedy and injuries probably robbed him of that.

Mickey for the Armagh Job and Big Joe for Tyrone...
2011: McGrath Cup
AI Junior Club
Hurling Christy Ring Cup
Munster Senior Football

Puckoon

Im not sure its true at all, just called home there and asked the brother what the report said, he said it was an old report that read
"Mickey harte is resigned to being without tyrone captain brian dooher" in reference to the quarterfinal defeat to meath.
I think mickey wants to give kerry one more chance to beat tyrone... ;)

ONeill

He's acting the eejit lads.

I spoke to Mickey yesterday. He has a plan that will land us a third in 6 years. It involves barbed wire, a chicken and Fergal Logan.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Pure piss take - so Kerry should not get annoyed - you'll have a chance next year to beat us !

sam in 08 09 and 10 to leave tyrone team of the decade ;)

Were Cavan ever the most sucessful team in a given decade or is this an honour yet to be bestowed on an Ulster county? Galway won 3 an appeared in a further final in the 60s and Meath had 2 wins and 2 runners up in the 90s, both pipping Down to the 'team of the decade' title.

Whats all this nonsense about Kerry needing to beat Tyrone.
Maybe a few years back when Tyrone were lording it yes, but its hardly much of a task now for Kerry?  :-\

'Fraid not, our two titles in the 30's (33' & 35') were well pipped by Kerry's five. Our back to back All Irelands of the 40's (47' & 48') were also over shadowed by Kerry's three. Rosommon also won back to back titles that decade too, but Cavan had also reached another three All Ireland finals.

Well, they made heavy enough work of beating Dublin so it might not be as clear-cut as you think. ;)
