OK, the story here is that Faithful Turfmen need to be in this division so someone needs to drop out. Here are a couple of alternatives

1. - Invites have been sent to Hegan's Helmets and New York Jets. I expect them to join quickly. That leaves Puppet Master, and if I don't get an email or hear from him today, I'll be demoting puppet Master which will leave a slot for the Turfmen.

2. If puppet master does join, and we have to promote a team to fill Claw's spot in the Montana, then Faithful Turfmen will take the promoted teams's slot.

I'll work it out, but the important thing is that the three remaining teams join ASAP.

Finally, the Rice Conference. Takeup on this has been very poor so far lads, so I'm wondering if the interest is there? I'd much prefer to have 3 10 team leagues than 2 12 or 14 team leagues, so please join up if you are interested.

OK lads, the latest story. Capt Pat's Vikings will be promoted to the A Competition, and Royal Badgers Demoted. Sorry Claw, but we need to schedule the drafts. Faithful Turfmen are taking Capt. Pat's place in the B league, which leaves  one slot to fill there, and that can be either Royal Badgers, or Puppet Master, neither of whom have sent me their email addresses. The C competition is slowly taking shape, but we need people in there ASAP please.

I am planning on doing the Montana Draft this SATURDAY night at 9pm Irish time. Planning on the Payton Draft to be Sunday at 8.00 pm Irish Time. We're too lax on the Rice League to schedule a draft yet, but it will have to be the weekend after.

What are we doing for defensive players? Is it back to 2 Defensive linemen and 2 DB's or was there a mention of LB's getting included?

Yahoo doesn't (I believe) differentiate between Linemen and Linebackers. You can pick LBs in the DL slot. Just like Safeties and Corners in DB slots. I think.
