Title: Have the Ghost Estates disappered?
Post by: Denn Forever on April 14, 2019, 11:15:06 AM
After the big meltdown 10 years ago, we were left with all these estates that were left unsold.  Were those houses sold or bought by local authorities for social housing?

On another point, I was in Dublin yesterday and I saw development in the industrial estates where Gateway etc. were used to operate.  Could these old factories around Dublin  e.g. Motorola, HP etc. not be repurposed or are Buildings owned by the old companies?  :-X

No. FG dont do social anything. The REITs bought most of them. The rest will go when nama reduces the prices
