Don't agree at all the likes of port/ ballyroan have got in high profile managers as they want to win a Leinster /Laois championship .But to say they have neglected there underage is bshit  both clubs have also hired full time gdos this year and also have been two of the stronger underage clubs the last few years

Apparently Portarlington were absolutely demolished by Naas in a challenge game tonight . Port failed to score in the 2nd half .  I don't know what the sense is in that 48 hours after a titanic tussle with Portlaoise. Surely the Port lads would have been shattered after Sundays efforts .
You appear to be getting alot of rumours from the Port camp without knowing the full story, think it was just a run out for the subs so I wouldn't read anything into it

Two semi final pairings which should be feisty with alot of niggle, agree with most in that Port have another gear still just depends on if they can get to it.Will Lillis and swayne be right for portlaois

While it's a very poor result and the county board have a lot to answer for it's the clubs that have to step up and take a lot of the blame for this.Too many clubs in Laois are taking the easy option and amalgamating with other clubs for a quick fix"let's join with this club and this club so we have 15 strong 17year olds that might win a championship or have a strong 15s team that might dominate"instead of working hard on the pick that have to make them the best possible footballers/hurlers they can be.If you look at our underage club results lately there is some awful hammerings occurring which does nothing for either club just some coaches on an ego trip

Sure they have enough for a team so.

During Summer Holidays doubtful, always a few away or sick.  I would be very surprised if we won U15 , also not sure on Colts numbers they may be including U13's who won't be playing in Ballyroan as we tend to stick to age groups.
Every club suffers with injuries and lads on holidays during the summer, what these amalgamations are doing is making it hard on individual clubs who rely on 14 and even 13 year olds to field a team coming up against a team of 15 year olds

Yeah think we have the final everyone wanted, plaois were much improved but ballyroan were very disappointing bar launching balls into Doyle which never worked they offered nothing. The second game was over once Crowley got injured ,emo already missing Kirwin didn't need that.while conditions didn't help ports shooting was very poor

Well they have had four starters the last few years,do you not think Coffey, moore or the two corner backs are of county standard

Id say the aim is to move ball as fast as possible but conditions yday put a stop to that, kick passing was a lottery although we misplaced far too many handpasses, while lads were losing their footing non stop.I actually don't think black card had a massive effect just the two goals which killed any hope we had. Also would like to see the barry and sean let play tonight it might give their confidence a boost

Very unfair county board shouldn't be allowing this to happen,as you mentioned plenty of seniors like whelan or gary walsh still to get a chance, would make other under 20 lads wonder why they bother

Maybe if we gave him role mcgeeney had for armagh as in breaking up attacks and driving forward and allow someone else pick up centre forward, naturally at his age he will struggle with manmarking jobs

Not exactly if you asked jim gavin to be next portlaois manager, does that mean he was approached by the portlaois club
