Buying Hurleys Online

Anyone know of any site that delivers hurleys, sliothars and GAA equipment worldwide.
I remember seeing some site a few months back but cant find it anymore.
Feckin cracked my hurley recently and have to get it replaced.

Cheers for that. Had awful trouble getting it past customs in Sydney in the first place, it had to break sometime!

Here bod mor, I've often wondered what the deal is with getting hurleys through customs when going abroad.

What sort of interrogation do they put you through?

I'd have thought it was a simple matter of strapping it to your luggage and away you go.

well they checked it out on me anyway, I had it wrapped up in a few t-shirts. I washed it down and scrubbed it before coming over but there still was a few bits of dirt and grass stains on it but they let me off with it eventually.

There's a new breed of hurleys after being launched there recently. I know the lad that runs the company, but am not involved in anyway, so this is information, not soliciting.!

Scullion Hurls have recently moved into online trading  - again nothing to do with the company - just a lot of Antrim clubs get hurls from them.

Contact them there neilthemac. They have a contacts link on the site, they might come and do a demo for you if you are really interested. Ferbane is not far of a spin for you anyway I think?

haven't seen the cultecs in person but I'm always sceptical of this sort of stuff. Whats wrong with plain old ash?

first there was wavin, then them synthetic yokes in Galway, then the ones in Clare with the holes drilled in the bas, now these.

From the brochure, their shape looks awful. Would like to hold one to see how they hold up balance-wise and how well they absorb shock.

To whoever wanted to buy online, don't if you can help it. You need to feel the stick and be happy its suitable before you buy. Contact a club whereever you are and ask them for a look at what they have.
