Brentford (H)
Sheff Utd (A)
City (H)
Fulham (A)
Luton (H)

And they didn't exactly cruise through those fixtures

Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Yeah one team there sticks out like a sore thumb. And we all know how United did vs City

Why would a United team deprived of confidence with a 2nd choice back 4 and no natural CDM, bedding in a new keeper and young striker be expected to cruise any Premier league game?

In 2021 Livepool with a similar set of defensive injuries ended up losing at home to Burnley,Brighton,Everton,Fulham without scoring themselves.

That doesent make much sense, United made their worst start in premier league history, and are struggling to get out of an easy champions league group, have spent a fortune & you are wondering why ETH is under pressure ?

What has "devoid of confidence" have to do with anything?

How clearer can it be ? As for Liverpool, not sure any of it's relevant but they had no centre backs at all, but Klopp had built plenty of credit in the bank and most people with any sense knew their fortunes would turn when they got some players back.

Makes a world of sense. Injuries effect a team and confidence is the make up any team that cruises any Premier league games.  Champions league has been poor and as I said on Wednesday for a team lacking leadership and defending so poorly have no business going any further. In regards to the Premier League.  12 games into this season United have 21 points just two points off their their total after 12 games last season.

Rumours of Sancho to Juventus in January. Loan of course and Utd have to cover part of his wages of course. More savvy business in the transfer market.

Was reading about Utd's injury list. Going back as far as Hargreaves and the mis management of his injury fingers have been pointed at the medical department. Mourinhou, Rangick and others have implied that they don't know what they are doing. The current injury list would seem to back this up.

Maroon Manc

United had 7 points from the first 6 games in 13/14 when Moyes was in charge and 20 points from 12 games and this is the year after winning the title by a landslide. That by a mile will always be United's worst start to a season and probably worst season.

Ten Hag has got to do better and the football has been muck and too what extent have the injuries too Martinez and Shaw impacted on that I just don't know but its clearly not helping, by a distance their his best 2 ball playing defenders. Add in Casemiro who was outstanding last year has turned up out of shape and been woeful all season is a huge issue too. Look he's not made mistakes, I like Mount but when Eriksen & McTominay are starting ahead of him and another loan signing in Amrabat it doesn't reflect well on him. Thankfully Amrabat is on loan, hes just not good enough.

I'm all for giving Ten Hag time though, he's a got a good track record and and saw enough last season to say he warrants a decent run at it; If a manager with the calibre of Pep or Klopp was available then that changes it but their not.
