I have not said O'Mahoney was right, he was wrong.
However he is the first person to get a thread dedicated to diving and is called patetic in the suject line.
So my point is this - Is O'Mahony the first ever person to have dived in Gaelic football? if so he deserves the thread, if not, why is it the first thread dedicated to a player for diving. Mr O'Neill had no trouble going down where is his thread???????

First of all I acknowledge what you said about O'Mahoney, fair play ... but as some kerry posters on this board (not you) and kerry officials (Mr Walsh) and kerry gobshites (Spillane) seem to be the self-appointed guardians of the moral codes and styles of football (especially when they're beaten by Nordie ballixs), it's only to be expected there's a backlash when one of your own whiter than white sheep transgresses, considering the cack we have to listen to from the aforementioned merchants

Hilarious and obviously unintentionally funny contribution from the News Letter this morning.

Story under the headline 'Call to drop anthem rejected by unionists' has a contribution from 'PUP man and lifelong Northern Ireland supporter Winston Churchill Rea'

The boul Winston Churchill Rea says: "I think that as NI is part of Great Britain then the Queen is the appropriate anthem.  If other countries want to have their own anthem that is their prerogative - but I can't see how people can advocate remaining in Great Britain and then do this.  I think it would be foolish for NI to have its own anthem.  If something isn't broke then don't fix it."

1.  PUP man and lifelong Northern Ireland supporter Winston Churchill Rea... interesting description ... this wouldn't by any chance be Winkie Rea, leading UVF terrorist on the Shankill Road, would it?
2. Winkie, NI isn't part of Great Britain, you f**king idiot.  It's part of the United Kingdom.  That's why it's called the United Kingdom of Great Britain AND Northern Ireland, you gobshite.
3. Considering the abuse directed at their beloved anthem from their Hampden brethren ... is the News Letter going to reconsider its position on all things Ulster-Scots? It must be very confusing being a unionist when you're always being treated as the unwanted runt of the litter

That was at least a fun article to read by Brolly - nice to see him highlighting Joey - who was my man of the match....after Dooher.

Along with Enda, Big Joe is probably our most underrated player (according to the so-called pundits) but the supporters know different

It's probably more that we haven't seen too much of him in recent years.

True, man of the match in the 2005 semi IMO and playing a blinder until he went off injured in the final

Probably 1.30 or 1.45

According to Ticketmaster, the time on the tickets for the main game is 2pm, which would mean the minor throw-in would be wild early ... can anyone confirm the throw-in for the senior game?

Complete and utter shite to equate the wealth of a few upwardly mobile Fenians with the rest of the nationalist population ... typical Jim Cusack crap to blame everything on the Shinners.  I live in west belfast and IMO the real reason for the rise in crime is because the PSNI - and that english p***k of a chief constable who spends more time issuing writs against newspapers who dare question the level of his expenses than doing his job - are a shower of useless b**tards.

you support spin fein?

not surprised you want to see the brits back on the streets of west belfast.

jim cusack is a traitor for writing that shit.there are irish men and women living in occupied ireland that are still being denied human rights.

Where in my answer does it say that, killer?  You're talking even more shite on this thread than you do on the two or three football ones you started, and that's saying something

So it's the PSNI who are murdering and terrorising people in thier homes, joyriding cars and dealing drugs, then...

I see.

No, they're so crap at their jobs that when people report murders, people being terrorised in their homes, joyriding and drug dealing, it takes them so long to tear themselves away from the chinese takeaway that the culprits aren't caught, and are so emboldened by the pathetic response of the rozzers that it just encourages them to carry on with their law-breaking

Got a text half an hour after the game to say it was the most complete destruction of a pillar in Dublin since 1966
