Would you ever f**k off with that crap. It wasn't entertaining the first time you did it and it hasn't aged well with the 100th.

As funny as a kick in the boll!x.

Was a grand auld game of football. Defensive, yes but not overly negative in my opinion. No major talking points from the ref either. Few calls could have went either way, but nothing major.
Felt it was lost on the sideline. Had we freshened things up in the 2nd half of normal time, I think we could have won. Too slow to make changes and reacting. That said, got tactic 100 in first half. But needed better in-game management. McShane and Seanie o Donnell should have been pulled in 2nd half.
Mattie and Morgan two players showing their class today for Tyrone.

Management needed to make changes quicker. McShane could been gone 30 mins ago. No legs left in a few of them. Unfortunately to slow to act again.

2 week break should help if they get through. But think this game will stand to the winner.

Donegal kicking lot of wides. Tyrone letting them take a pop at distance. Dangerous tactic.

Not sure on that free. Lines just crossed and collided.

OK, so how many are we expected to take?

I thought you were taking none and instead shipping to 🇷🇼 ?

What a red herring. Where does it end? Come on, tell us.
Where does it start? Are you saying we should be taking none? I'm assuming you're not that big a boll!x and that you are happy to take some. So what's the limit? How many is too many for you?

Quote from: Turf on April 25, 2024, 01:17:41 PMMaybe he will stand in the centre circle and tell the fans their job now is to support the new manager aka 'the chosen one'.

Klopp is leaving Liverpool far better than he found them. If he had would nothing else apart from the Premier League he would still be considered a legend imo. The fact he won everything there was to win (apart from the Europa League obvs) means he will go down as one of the greatest managers the club has ever had.

Certainly whomever comes in has big boots to fill but they should be given time because it's probably going to take next season at the least to find his feet at such a big club.

Genuinely intrigued that Liverpool fans will hold him in such high esteem, or maybe is it recency bias? He delivered one league title in 9 years?

I get that he is an iconic figure and was box office and even fans of other teams will miss him from the EPL.

You have to look at what he was up against. He has been up against the monster that is city. Up against a club that financially outstripped its competitors in the PL by so much for the duration of his stint. And he still managed to get a title and run them close in another few. Not to mention the champions league.
Given where Liverpool came from, it was an unreal feat. Look at the status of the club now compared to before he came. There is no comparison. IMO at least.

Quote from: tyroneman on April 21, 2024, 11:04:40 PMNo issue with players being blooded, transition years, need to gain experience...all that stuff....fine...

But surely you should be able to see a plan, a system, some kind of tactics beyond the basic, something to give these players a structure to develop in ...
What does that even mean? Lost their way when Hampsey went off on the black card... need to look at that. They were the much better side.

What that means is exactly what it says. It's great to see new players get brought in and given a meaningful taste of league and championship.

There is also a lot of talent there, which means we can go on scoring sprees and look fantastic for periods. All good. So the raw ingredients are there.

What is not evident is a system or structured gameplay to compete with Dublin/Kerry/Derry (and McGuiness back means Donegal are also a much diffeent prospect).

There is zero consistency in the team, from quarter to quarter, never mind game to game.

Maybe I just dont see/understand the current tactics as well as others and I would be delighted to be proved wrong.

Nah you've still lost me. Maybe I'm not up to speed with gameplans. You mention Derry, they were a shambles at the weekend. Kerry scraped past Cork. I've must have a simpler outlook. Tyrone went away from home and beat a side just beat Monaghan. Things went badly awry on the black card and need to look at why. Sitting in Breffini Park yesterday wat I saw was Tyrone were the much better team and when it was 15 v 15 Cavan wouldn't have won if we were there to next Tuesday. Next up... Donegal.
You don't think going a man down and how to cope with it is an element that the management should have dealt with in training? I would be asking serious questions about why we opened up so quickly during those 10 mins. That re-organisation lies with management imo.

Tyrone played more as individuals. When they weee put under some pressure in the 2nd half they didn't pull together as a unit and lacked leaders to close out the game. It shows what the team has the potential to do. But whether it's a lack of confidence by the players or lack of game management by the sideline I don't know. The reality is that in patches they can play some nice football. But seem to lack consistency too much to be a threat unfortunately.

Lads away and have a look at yourselves. Arguing every single call that was against your team. There was very little in the reffing of that game that was controversial.
The last couple of pages would make your head hurt.

Never been a big take away lover. Not sure if it's just in general or the fact most local ones are muck. After a Chinese or chippy I just feel like crap. Love getting to a nice indian but it's a rare occurrence.
That said, you can't go wrong with pizzas. Would be my go to when looking a fast food hit.

Do many still have the auld deep fat fryer? We've never had one since getting married and I vowed never to get one in as I'd fall into the lazy trap to often.
We've an actifry for few years now and love the chips out of it. Missus had to get the ninja there too. And despite initial objections given we already had an air fryer, it's used every day. Oven rarely goes on now unless it's a pasta bake, lasagna etc that doesn't fit in the ninja.
