Can you look up old issues on the new-look independent.ie site? like old match reports etc?

Unison/Independent used to have a freely accessible archive going back to about 2002. You just had to register to use it. But it's disappeared. I tried using it about a week ago and it said something about the archive now being premium content – i.e. you had to pay. I looked this morning and the site has been completely revamped – no archive, no mention of premium content, no registration and no option to log on. Just today's news.
You have to register and pay for access to the Irish Times content, including the archive. As far as I remember it's about €70/year.
