maybe somebody should place a sticky at the top with the link to the tg4 schedule, i'm constantly amazed by the requests from people as to what's on this sunday etc, would it not be as easy to head off to tg4.ie (and click on bearla).

see it's been changed to 'english' instead of bearla.

Dangerous.

In the Onion Bag

An absolutly terribly week of weather.
TG4 still delivered 2 televised club games.  Well done TG4, keep it comming.

Lecale2

But they were poor and one wasn't finished.

I hope the weather improves for Ballygunner -vs- Newtownshandrum. Could be an excellent match.

Would St Galls be the favorites in the north?

2/5 Galls and 5/2 Loup

silly odds considering the Derry Champions are playing the Antrim champions.

Also the Derry championship being so difficult to win and the record Derry teams have in the competition.

1-3 points will be the winning margin (either team)

  2/5 Galls and 5/2 Loup

Loop worth a bet at that money.  I agree, will be less than 4 between them.

If the weather is really really bad the ulster final could be close, otherwise I don't expect Loup to get particularly close - you never know with Galls though, they could be complacent, hard not to be in their postion after the way they won the 'real' final against Clontibret.
Whoever won Derry was always going to be hot favs to make an Ulster final given the draw, so whilst i'd love to see Loup do it, I think Sunday will be time to say goodbye to the Loup boys, it's been some season, 16/1 for Derry at the quarter final stage and now in an Ulster final, aye the bookies are rarely wrong, they were with that, but I think they've called it this Sunday and it'd be Galls -3 for me.

i remember a final when the Derry Champions were favourites (Ballinderry i think) they were playing Cross at Casement, must have bee the only time Cross were not favourites for the final. but the weather was dreadfull and Cross beat them in a very low scoring final.

Boys are looking forward to it, training tonight and good buzz about them.
