GAA Discussion / Re: McKenna Cup 2015

We might even be treated to a rugby tackle.

While I'm not fussed on who wins, I'm glad Mcgeeney has an extra game to try some more players. Don't care who wins,  it will soon be forgotten about.

An online bookmaker is so confident of a win for the No camp it has already started paying out to those who staked money on it. Betfair said it was paying out a 'six-figure sum' despite the polls narrowing. It said gambling patterns indicate a 79 per cent likelihood of a No vote.

- Vote yes.

It is obvious that all these big companies are scaremongering becuase if Scotland does go it alone the big companies are the ones that will lose out, they don't care about the people of Scotland they care about their profits.

General discussion / Re: What TV to Buy

Looking a new TV, around 55inch or thereabouts. What's the craic with the curved TVs? Are they the next big thing or just a gimmick? 4K TVs seem to be advertised now as well but all are quite expensive and no doubt with come down in price as they become more popular. What to get something decent and get a PS4 on the go as well.

Any recommendations of what to go for, what TV makes to stick with etc?
Cheers

Wouldn't buy one at 55 inch due to you have to sit at the right distance and dead centre of the TV. You would have to go 65inches up to see any real benefit.

Ambrose needs to go, never watched the match but looked at the update and the first one was he lost the ball at the half way line.

Katie Taylor - Gold at every tournament. Won the last 60 of 61 bouts, which is impressive in boxing no matter what level.

Does anyone else lose their sky signal during heavy rain showers? Just been a real thunderstorm there and my signal was gone for the duration. Bit of a nuisance in a country like this!!

It is called rain fade, your dish is probably ever so slightly misaligned. Dishes are suppose to be set up to compensate for this.
