Dublin enjoy themselves. They once got Jim Gavin into an ice bath. Wow. Like Tersea May running through a field of wheat.

I know football getting knocked at moment but the club championship is brilliant in Cavan at moment. New structures have created three great competitions and results are hard to predict.

What have any physics said to you to date?

physics, psychics, or physios...
;D

Only 1 letter out lol. I'll try that again...

What have your physios said?

Had a few sessions and gave me a stretching programme to do which helped but never really got rid of it fully. He didn't think any disk problem.

Looking for advice. I have a lower back problem which has being ongoing for five months and I am in agony with it at times. It is on the right side and pain shoots down into the leg too at times.  I have tried both physio and a chiropractor for it and neither has worked fully. Couple quick questions. Would physio or a chiropractor be more effective. Also if these options aren't working what next?
Where are you based ? Can you see a chartered physiotherapist with a good reputation?

Yeah Ronan Carolan wouldn't be too far away from me.

John Maughan the new Offaly manager

If he got it what was their shortlist? Eugene McGee, Mick O Dwyer and Tommy Carr. Talk about yesterday's man.

CBs are disastrous.

They're playing very high. So vulnerable on counter. Missing pace on wings. Bellerin being left exposed. Not a lot changed defensively. Torreira and Lacazette need to start.

Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has picked up more points than the Gunners this season.  ;D

I'd imagine he'll lose his licence rather than pick up points.

No Poacher?
Surprised at that.

Poacher was part of Aidan O Rourke ticket for Cavan job but they missed out.

Cavan win through to the Gerry Reilly cup final (u16) where they  play Meath. Best longford in a tight enough game but I believe the played 3/4 of the game with 14 men. Prior to that they gave Dublin a awful hiding. What's encouraging is they seem to have some individual forwards hitting big scores. For example Caoimhin O Reillys brother scored 0-9 last day, 7 from play. Fionntainn i think his name is. More critical almost than senior is that we get the right men in charge of u17 and u20 panels to bring what is obviously some great talent through.

We've always done well at u16. Where I think we lose our way then is not enough strength and conditioning. At minor and u20 level this year it was evident. Then when we get to senior we are miles behind. Maybe county board should employ a full tine coach with responsibility for all county players.

Lads what players do we want back on the panel and what could be done to keep the turnover low eg Monaghan...

Players I'd like to see in/back are David Givney (in England) Kevin Meehan (music doesn't help), Paul Graham and maybe Andy, Eugene Keating, Gerry Smith(available again after exams), Fergal Flanagan (available again too after masters),  Paul Smith (working closer to home now), Brian O Connell, Jack Brady, Niall McDermot, Colm Smith, Conor Smith, Thomas Galligan, Niall McKiernan and Dillon. Maybe have forgot some.

Is Paul Smith not based in Donegal? Like to see Argue too. But serious work on S and C to be done. Losing Maguire last year was a real loss but I believe Corry is very good at what he does. Just need real buy in. Galway hit the league hot and it did wonders for them.

Paul Smith transfered to Monaghan.

RTE is probably the worst channels on tv atm. Production value is brutal and it's like a step back in time. Streaming player is worthless.

I personally couldn't care less if they speak to them or not.

Forget your tyrone prejudices. Rte is one of a small number of free to air channels available in Ireland. It's the best of those channels by far in terms of content. There are lots of people who cannot afford sky, virgin or any of the pay tv options which can be very expensive. Rte is an essential public broadcaster which provides a very good service in the main. I have a couple of elderly aunts and uncles who live in the south and they totally rely on rte.

It's not free to air.

It is in the North!!

Not in South. Well it's free for about 25% of people who don't bother paying the fee.

That's some list of players that would create a very strong squad. Training would be improved as a result.

Mickey was ratified last night with McCabe and Corey.
