Dublin rip offs and how to avoid

Free parking after 7 around most of the quays and areas around the Bord Gais. Don't see the issue, only really 7 euros more that you "anticipated"; and being a "greedy" landlord should have you rolling in it. Sure the 7 euros would even keep you in Nachos and Mistrals for 5 mins.

That wouldnt do him. He'll only park where the footpaths are multicoloured

I had a bad experience in Dublin once ,at the Olympia Theatre.Parked in a side street,returned to find window smashed and car stereo (remember them?) stolen.Long time ago,but still wouldn't take a chance at night ever again,leaving car on street in Dublin.€13 to park car for a few hours at the theatre during an evening is scandalous.
