Haven't watched any Patrick Kielty's late late shows thus far however of the Tubridy shows I watched the strong themes was talking to someone that's about to die or knew someone that died tragically and if that person has brought out a book about it all the better. 

The Rob Delaney interview was exactly that, but it was very compelling and genuine. Powerful.

Viewing numbers peaked at 934,000 (average 830,000) for Kielty's first show last month but that number dropped to 548,000 in his second week, and to an average audience of 486,000 in his third show last week.

Tonight is a county music show that was pre-recorded during the week. That show normal attract 500,000 viewers.

I wouldn't agree he's poor. If you watched his Mick Lynch or Rob Delaney interview you wouldn't say he's poor.

I wouldn't agree he's poor. If you watched his Mick Lynch or Rob Delaney interview you wouldn't say he's poor.

Seen the Mick Lynch interview,  far to friendly no difficult questions asked. Bit like Tubridy & Von Der Leyen last year.
Early days yet, dont like the format of multiple interviewees, brainchild of some Scottish director.
