Can be happy with the test but have to win on Saturday, no too ways about it. We have the 3rd best home record after Utd and Chelsea and the third worse away record. We need wins on the road and newcastle are their for the taking if we get about them early and put doubts in their mind.

Lucas and Meirles impressed, albeit against a very poor Villa midfield, Steven Ireland WTF??? While Babel put in a very good display by his standards, I was more impressed with Ngog. Looked very bright, looked to take on Villa defenders early on and put doubts in there heads with what he was going to do, set the tone for his display. Took his goal well but I thought his part in the second was very understated by Sky, his pace and little flick with outside of his foot was sublime. Great finish by Maxi as well.

Good to see these comfortable wins over poor opposition.

But it sickens to watch sky and the slack they continue to give Roy. Gray said that he inherited a far weaker squad than Rafa inherited from Ged, WTF? He said it was a certainity. Keys then piped up that Liverpool are now closer to the top team at this stage of the season than they where last year, it would have fair to say that they are also closer to the bottom team than they where this time last season.

The non-nationals across the road seem to have abandoned the downstairs of the house and are camped out upstairs in the bedroom. No downstairs lights on all week and the upstairs bedroom has been in use every evening.

Maybe they applying Ollys way of thinking.
You nosey, curtain-twitching hoor!
I hadn't noticed that  :D

Did you see the foreign lad battering his car the other morning? He was cursing the back wheel drive!

My house is directly facing them and you don't have to go out of your way to notice these things, in these times you have to keep an eye on your nieghbours!!

You'll notice it this evening!

Never seen him but you see your man the other side of me "parking" his car? He puts boot down past us and puts it into spin to face opposite direction and then calmy parks it on kerb, everytime he does it i can see him going into the wall!

Will 2010 be the new 'Year of the Big Snow'?

Anyone know the current 'Year of the Big Snow'?

1947. Lasted in the west until begining of May, my grandfater tells of the swans stranded on Lough Mask, with the foxes walking out to them.

Fair play to the Foxes for risking and limp to go out and save the stranded swans, shows you that we need to put our differences to one side and pull together to get through these difficult times.  ;)

Also,  it looks as if we ar going  to miss out on Mexes, which is a shame, this lad's quality.

Would actually like to get someone like shawcross.
anyone seen much of this wilson fella? he hasnt got much game time so far

Wilson seemed to hold his own in the SPL and Euro ties for Rangers last year and also played for Scotland. Good reputation but he played LB in Carling Cup and it obvious he wasn't comfortable.

Wisdom another one for the future, still very young 17 or 18? No harm in loaning him out in January to cut his team in league 1 or 2. Conor Caody also highly rated and seems to play either CB or CM.

Not really that light on the centre back front, after all Martin Kelly really is a CB, and we have a great one out on loan at Hull, Daniel Ayala, would love to see him recalled. Going to be our 1st choice CB for years to come. Also Agger nearing a return. Maybe loosing Carra might not be such a bad thing... Just as long as the Greek doesn't get a game!!

Seriously? I actually think he's been one of our better preformers this season and a great back up choice. Would also like to see Agger get more time as he's a smart CH. Can carry the ball out better than any of the current CH's. Tho Kelly would prob be just as comfortable given his time on the right.

I would also be confused on the comments on the Greek. Being fairly solid this 12 months and i doubt crouch would have had as much joy in the air if the greek was about, although he may have been exposed on the deck but no more than those around him had been.

Need Agger back asap and use Kelly as back up, with Wilson also an option.

Well done Roy. Rafa would never have started this game with 2 strikers. Defending by both team is awful expect a few more goals in 2nd half.

yes, all credit to roy. His away record continues to amaze. Any excuse to throw rafas name into the mix.

PFK - Jesus wept.

"The away form has been bad for a long time," he added. "I'm afraid in this league away victories are hard to come by. "I believe if we continue to play the way we did against West Ham we may get one or two but it is the level of performance which counts."

What a spineless man. Some ambition for a LFC manager. His latest rants are just the biscuit. Why bother turning up Roy? The man is either totally clueless or just playing a game with his comments. I just can't see the later been true.

Aquaman by all accounts is doing very well at Juve.

Can i just add that what BC1 is totally correct.

The owl is a terrible manager, right down there with Souness. I fully expect Spurs to take the three points at the weekend, RH just can't set a team up at all away from home and everytime he talks he comes out with some gem. Recent polls on LFC forums have asked if he should go and on everyone i saw it was running at 95% in favour of him going. Says it all.

Former poster (bingobus) who had engaged Ardmhachaabu before on the board and i just felt i should post something to mark his passing. Always came across very well to me and seemed to believe in what he posted.

Shocking sad news and I can't believe to imagine the pain his family must be feeling. I'd have a similar profile to him - age, family set-up - and its not worth even thinking about losing any of the family unit in any way.

Great to read alot of the posts and tributes to him.

RIP.
