Quote from: Wildweasel74 on April 21, 2024, 02:51:30 AMOn another matter, there seems to be, a few new posters on here past few weeks. On the messages, I get the impression they been on here before or jumping between a few names.

On the matter at hand watching the goals again, first was terrible, second Lynch actually scored it, it was going wide, forth lying in a heap in midfield embarrassing stuff.

The 2nd wasn't going wide but he made a balls of it. Should have kept it out.

Why is it nonsense?

It's not nonsense with a Morgan type player. Lynch has been an accident waiting to happen.

Lynch in no panic to get back into his goal. Out for a wee stroll in the park there.

Decent enough line up and if Canavan x 2 and McCurry can fire like they are capable of I think we will win with a bit to spare.

Light on the bench in fairness. If things are going wrong then very little to change things.

Quote from: square_ball on April 18, 2024, 08:43:20 AMI seen on Facebook the cafe in Rushmere Shopping Centre in Craigavon got their rates bill of £71k through the post! That is crazy money and when you throw in rent, staff, electric, stock and all the rest you would have to sell some amount of fish and chips to cover that on a daily basis.

I heard talk of that. Out of curiosity how does that compare to town centre rates in Lurgan/Portadown? Rushmere is flying at the minute and is usually packed. They'd have much more footfall there than in a town site.

No idea about rates in Lurgan/Craigavon. True Rushmere is busy throughout the week and that cafe always seems to be busy as well so obviously they are still making enough to keep their business going. I'd imagine their location and footfall in the centre is relfected in their rent as well. But still a £71k rates bill is pretty high in any mans language.

Quote from: superstar_ on April 16, 2024, 09:43:59 AMLoughmacrory should be concerned. Missing their 3 U20s and Donaghy on the seniors but Omagh also down men shows the lack of depth Lough have in their squad. They have lost a few important players to emigration and their must be internal fear of a relegation battle. Be a lot of expectations on McElholm and McCullagh this year.

No more word on McElholm going to Australian Rules or is that out the window now? He was very impressive last week against Monaghan in the U20s.

And Sean Dyche lucky that Everton have no money to sack him. 1 win in 15 games is atrocious form.

The broadcasters must hate it!

Yeah its hard to beat a back 9 meltdown at one of the Majors. Never looked likely from Scheffler.

Maybe next year for Rory.

The wind is making things very difficult for everyone.

Liverpool have a right good chance in the league now if they do go out. Ideal scenario will be Arsenal and City to meet in the champions league semi in a few weeks.

I am nearly tempted to stick a tenner on them to still win the Europa. They have been creating loads of chances and if they get an early goal in Italy, Atlanta could shit the bed. Depends if Klopp thinks they'd be better chasing it or turn their attentions to the winning the league.

16 and 17 were the holes that could have turned it from an ok start to a good start. He has to be making those putts on 16 and then bogey on 17 rubbed salt in the wounds. Level par for the Par 5s probably wasn't in the plan either. At least he's not out of it but Scheffler looks very good.

Tiger going along ok though 23 holes today could take its toll.

Raya definitely took the goal kick when he heard the refs whistle and not passing it across for Gabriel to take it.

It would have been funny had it been given just for the Arsenal meltdown over it.

Just with that goal kick incident - what is the thinking behind Gabriel taking it and passing it to Raya as oppossed to the goalkeeper just doing the same? Obviously its some nuanced coaching brilliance that a mere mortal like me doesn't understand. I see United doing the same thing too.
