JFC Quarter Finals...

Brackaville vs. Drumquin (Saturday @Pomeroy 1.00pm)
Brocagh vs. Cookstown (TBA)
Drumragh vs. Castlederg (Saturday @Newtownstewart 1.00pm)
Kildress vs. Urney (Sunday @Killyclogher 1.00pm)

Cookstown and Kildress to go through comfortably. Other two harder to call.

Drumquin seem to have improved significantly this year so I will back them.

Drumragh/Castlederg is 50:50. I will go with Drumragh on the back of their performance last week but I dont expect much to be in it.

Are the semis an open draw or have the pairings been decided?
Brave statement to completely rule out Urney when they have Johnny Lafferty and Jamie McAleer in their ranks. Will be a very close game and those two could be difference makers, Kildress may have a better team all round but they havent got game changers like them. Kildress were also very lucky against Eskra with that goal decision. Des Tracey still being the best player is also concerning for them.

Don't even think Des would agree with that statement.

TwoUpTwoDown

Drumquin
Cookstown
Castlederg
Urney

Curve ball with Urney but why not. Johnny Lafferty can win big games on his own when all goes to plan.

Good man Fionn, I'd assumed that both league winners go straight up.

Our minors qualified for a championship final after a battle against strabane up in Strabane (was never going to be anything else up there) credit where credit is due strabane had the homework done after a bit of a timbering in the league campaign. Our boys showed mighty spirit at the start of the second half to get pull themselves back into the game.  Omagh now in the championship final sunday fortnight who are the only team to hold that team to a draw all year with the league final against ardboe next wednesday.

On another note if you get a chance go on Teamtalk Twitter or facebook and check out the goal scored by Barney gormleys young girl last night in the minor girls final. Class act

Great match last night with a huge crowd in attendance, brilliant advert for underage football. Strabane missed goal chance in the first half maybe came back to bite them. Carmen were outstanding in the first 10/15 minutes of the second half, that purple patch effectively won them the match. Showed great maturity as well seeing out the match. That Strabane team will be back next year, think 11 of the starting 15 are still minor next year.

Classy Glenman!  :-\

What's the ruling on reserve eligibility in their championship.

Is it same as last year ruled out from last fixture of seniors or is it back to way it use to be if you play senior anytime your out of reserve?

Onthe40

Anyone know if the u13 comp is going ahead this year?

Just whoever played in your last senior game is ineligible

Edendork already promoted through the league - could be a factor with Gortin being the hungrier team

They're not. They have to win the league final to ensure promotion that way.

Dire Ear

Edendork to win by 6,  Trillick by 5 !
