Have plenty of time for the Beragh club but absolutely delighted to see Conor Gormley getting a nice hammering in Gortacladdy this evening in first game!

Why do you say this? What happened?

Showed little class when agreeing to manage Kildress then reneging and going to Beragh. At the time when I heard the figures quoted I was a bit worried for an unproven manager so think it worked out the best for us. So when we beat his side by more than double scores with inside managers it was a great satisfaction for the home support.

Imagine we had Jim McGuinness as manager with the players we have in the county

Quote from: WT4E on December 30, 2023, 11:57:26 PMA word of thanks to the Gortin Club. Something for them to take great pride in. Raising serious money in memory of Matty for the Kevin Bell repatriation Trust. They also hosted some of Mattys family after the game. Class touch from a class club who I know we aren't actually neighbours but we always feel like they are a close neighbour.

Thank you for this in a time when a neighbouring club never acknowledged the loss on their social media when so many others near and far did. We really appreciate the love from those near and far because it mean so much.

Curiosity got the better of me so I checked. I see the Rock, Pomeroy and Cookstown all posted tributes. Would it be a club to the West of you...
I think this should be nipped in the bid straight away. Who ever it was most certainly wouldn't have did it deliberately. To even mention it on here is poor form

Would you like me to remove the post?

Still doesn't feel real.

In my time on this board I've had lots of opinions and craic but the day has come where I never thought I'd be typing something so hard.

Matty has left us.

On occasion I was accused of being Matty and when he would read posters saying that him and I would laugh – that was the type of lad he was he took it all in his stride.

He would read this board and text do you see what they are talking about now! 😊 Write you something on there for the craic.

The Tones have lost their Star
A family has lost such a good Lad
A girlfriend has lost the love of her life from they where 15
And I've lost my best friend!

RIP Matty! Til we meet again!!!

Well you are from Tyrone ...

Probably live closer to Scotstown than Trillick. Lol

Just checked 33 mile from both clubs..... couldn't be more neutral.

Great to see the wee girl Hand being reunited with her father. Could get a bit awkward but I hope she never finds out.

Mad how the mind works amidst all the Israeli propaganda

Quote from: Tyrone Gaa on November 26, 2023, 04:58:51 PMNo ulster club silverware coming to Tyrone this year  :-\

I'd be optimistic for next year though. If Killeeshil can get their act together they could win an Ulster Junior even with a Division 1 Cavan side (Knockbride) being in the mix.

I'd expect Moortown to win the Intermediate Championship in Tyrone and give Ulster a good rattle like they did in 2021. They were the only team that got close to Steelstown who won the All-Ireland and Moortown are a better side now. Can count themselves unlucky enough to be back in Duvison 2.

Errigal ran Glen close last year and Trillick were unlucky today so the Tyrone Senior Champions aren't far away. They just could do with a bit more luck when they get to the provincial stage. But who comes out of the Tyrone SFC next year is anyone's guess.

The most likely outcome from this post is that not one of the teams mentioned will get out of Tyrone. Lol
