GAA Discussion / Garrycastle v Cross
March 14, 2012, 12:23:43 PM
Well people........... whats the verdict?

I think Cross would not have come up against a team as physical as Garrycastle this year and as a team which empties the tank as we have witnessed in the Westmeath's champions run to the final but I do believe Cross have the expierence and skill to cause the backline of Garrycastle endless problems. If Dessie is on song again and O'Shaugnessey can control the middle I think Garrycastle +5 may be worth a bet.  McKenna has to start this game to combat the strength of Garrycastle and if Garrycastle are going to win it will be the midfield that may be the platform; however Morgan has done a terrific job on the opposition's dangermen (Cooper being the latest) so Garrycastle cannot rely on Dessie alone. Interesting match.
