Adrian McGuckin described my feelings on Harte managing Derry perfectly on the GAA social a while back. Great coach amd will do a good job with Derry, but he is a Tyrone legend, and seeing him wearing the Derry badge just doesn't sit right.

Brolly contradicts himself regularly, but is a good speaker and his podcast is entertaining.

Fenton silly but Derry man made a meal of it - some Derry lads loved pointing these things out in the past though they'll be quiet about this one I'm sure.

Fair play to Derry - great game and they deserved the victory in the end. Look forward to seeing them play a full strength Dublin in the Summer.

You have an event like Shane MacGowan's funeral mass where they seemed to do what they liked, and it was much the better for it, in my opinion.

Then was at a funeral today where the family were refused permission to deliver a eulogy, on direction from the archbishop, lest it take away from the priest's homily.
