So four points needed from home games against Stoke & Brighton, that's only if Chelsea beat Liverpool and win their 3 other games. So still almost there but a win today would have meant they could have thrown everything into the two Roma games and forgot about the Stoke game

Gomez had a downright stinker.

Good ammunition there for klopp to acquire a new partner for Virgil.

And we are still firmly in dodgy keeper land.

We need the new Ray Clemence, solid unspectacular and utterly reliable.

A lot of turn over this summer I think.

Klopp was absolutely livid at that result, I was just happy there were no injuries, but not good for the mindset for Roma

Wouldn't be overly concerned at result today. Rested 5 of starting team for Tuesday and got Salah and Mane off early. They will be ready for Tuesday night.

I don't think there will be a big turnover this summer. Kieta is obviously coming and if Can goes I would say we need another cm but at the same time wouldn't be overly shocked for Klopp to go into the season with Henderson, Kieta, Milner, Lallana, Ox, Gini and Grujic as his options.

Definitely need at least one attacker to come in that can play several positions, to take the work load off the front 3. I like Ings and Solanke has potential but wouldn't want to be relying on them for an extended period in the team.

Other than that maybe a back up left back if Moreno is flogged.

Saw something before today's game that it's their highest points total at this stage of the season, bar 13/14 maybe. Only lost 4 games, too many draws though. Have to concede the second place trophy to Utd now. Defence a lot better (wouldn't read too much into today as only the keeper & VVD will be playing on Tuesday).
