Apologies if this has been posted before. If it has then I'll sure as hell remove it.

With the greatest possible pleasure, may I please add:

Longford Senior Football Championship Final, 2008:

Colmcille 0-13
Longford Slashers 0-07

First in 50 years for my club, not even Evil Genius can annoy me today.   ;D   ;D  ;D

Congrats BB. I hope you can keep it going.

How disappointing not to read LL's questions. So, I'll make up a few of my own.

1) What % of the speed of light does keyboard signals travel to the processor?

2) Does the queen of england have a laptop or desktop, and has one registered on any discussion boards? What would one's handle be?

3) What was the first computer input device you used?

4) What % of the world electricty do computers consume?

5) How do memory sticks retain what you told them?

For me, his best was as follows:

1) Cool Hand Luke
2) The Sting
3) Torn Curtain
4) Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Never really liked anything else he did.

A lawyer named Strange died, and his friend asked the tombstone maker to inscribe on his tombstone, "Here lies Strange, an honest man, and a lawyer."

The inscriber insisted that such an inscription would be confusing, for passers-by would tend to think that three men were buried under the stone. However he suggested an alternative. He would inscribe, "Here lies a man who was both honest and a lawyer."

"That way, whenever anyone walked by the tombstone and read it, they would be certain to remark, 'That's Strange.'"

Can anyone recommend a good silent movie?

Silence of the Lambs (also known in Belfast as Shut Up Yews)

Has this actually been agreed or is it one of a number of proposals? I think that's were the confusion arises.

If it's all agreed, fair enough, let's get on with implementing it and telling parents. If it's not, when will things be agreed?

AFAIK she doesn't need agreement from the Uppers and Duppers as she is changing the existing system and not abolishing. Surely it's now the responsibility of the schools to inform parents of the options - at least that's what I heard one principle say on the radio yesterday.

Eh? Who decides what the system should be, the schools or the department? If its based on geography then the likes of St Mary's Grammar Magherafelt could disappear.

It used to be that when you went to dublin for a match you could be virtually guaranteed pure nectar when you ordered your pint of stout. Now it seems you have to be very careful where you go if you want a good pint.
What mystified me was that on Sunday we were swallowing pints in Tom Mayes and they were top drawer, yet on Monday afternoon they were rotten and no better than you would get in Birmingham. One of the lads with us reckoned that it was down to different grades of Guinness i.e there are 3 different grades. Surely not? Anyone ever heard of this?

How did you get a ticket ya bollix!!!!!!!!!!!
