My first time in Croke Park when Armagh were not playing. Have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it and made all the better by the fact that it was a full house. Lots of banter with both sets of fans at the sight of two orange jersies.

Once Meath fell behind, panic set in and they couldn't get even straight forward scores. In the end, it looked like men against boys.

Hopefully Donegal can keep that tempo up and give it a real go in the final.

Alcohol will also cause problems, as seen in the above post lol

Meath mania has definitely returned. The guitars and keyboards are out and songs are being written (badly).

We haven't had some songs written about us for a while. 2015 was the last time I remember before the Leinster final I think.

In the 1999 semi-final I was quite sick of hearing "You'll never beat the Royals"

Junior football final. Kilkenny v

New York v Warwickshire  and Kilkenny v London semi finals on Friday in Abbottstown and the two winners play in the final on Sunday at 1:30pm.  Can't imagine many Meath and Donegal fans will be rushing in to watch that?

It doesn't give fans of the four participating counties much time to decide to go to the final. Must be just  jolly / reward for the footballers.

Do seagulls really not like hurling? I see they abandoned Croke Park today and are down watching the Meath v Tipp women's football 😮

It used to be that if you played soccer then you couldn't play Gaelic.

Funny how things change 😮

That was an entertaining afternoon.

If Armagh beat Kerry then I wouldn't fear anyone.

Actually like Bradley

This is why I don't like Bradley

That's exactly why I do like him. Jiminez was outta line all day that day. Bradley handled it well.

Heartbreaking to watch tommy psyche himself out on 18 approach. You could see the nerves and the color draining from his face.

Jiminez was well within his rights. Bradley's caddie was out of line so no need for Bradley to get aggressive.

Quote from: Orior on June 20, 2025, 06:42:44 PMBizarre how Irish politicians (SDLP and DUP) can vote on matters in Westminster that do not apply to the occupied six. When are we going to hear Jim Allistar complain that assisted dying will not apply to NI?
They can vote on things in Westminster that don't apply in NI, but can't vote on things in Brussels that do apply in NI.

There is a very easy solution to all that...
