Does anyone else feel the PL has petered out a bit before it's even over? Maybe it's just me and my view of modern football but it's dull

What did yous think of canavan on the Sunday Game last night.  Thought he was critical without being overly so.  Mentioned that Tyrone put no pressure on the new donegal keepers kick outs. He thought that Morgan could have come out a bit more just to pressurise him on the kick outs without going gong ho like derry.  At the same time he mentioned the lack of men to come off the bench.

3rd place wrecked us in the groups last year.  Westmeath followed by donegal so by the time we got to kerry on the third weekend we were knackered.  Hopefully there's better luck with the draws this year

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on April 28, 2024, 07:59:34 PMMorgan had caught that ball at the end over normal time, it was game over

Or even got a good fist to it which was risky in itself.  He's usually very secure with those balls and probably would have got a free out if he caught it.  He'll be disappointed he didn't catch ut

Well obviously Tyrone were number one as they won the All Ireland.  I'd have put Armagh at number 3 behind kerry  :)

Unfortunately I have zero confidence in our management team to get us over the line.  Hope I'm proved wrong but can't see it at all

Folks, honestly, do you think we have much if a chance on Sunday? I honestly don't think we have.  Obviously there is the McGuinness factor and they'll be buzzing after last week.
I know we played div 1 but we're very young and have plenty of injuries.  Donegal on the other hand have boys who have been around the block and will now be playing to a system.  After a number of years our boys don't seem to have any system
I think last week we had our best team out from the start and had very little to bring off the bench.  I would like to see maybe mcshane to start on Sunday so that a fresher set of legs coukd come on later to do damage.

Stumbled across this show Manifest on Netflix.  First few episodes not bad but seen there are over 50 of them.  Not sure whether to stick with it

I expect a division one team who are leading by 7 or 8 points to close the game out.

They coukd be forgiven if it was a one off as some of the great teams of the past struggled against the likes of cavan, westmeath etc.  It happens.  This team have been given plenty of passes at this stage though

A great achievement from a great player but he does remind me of Steve interesting Davis.  I hate it when the back 9 becomes a procession

I would argue that the lack of success for both Armagh and Mayo has kept their fans coming back in their droves.  Funny how it works.  Tyrones fan base has fallen off significantly after winning their last all ireland
