Ya exactly. As we don't have any underage structures we are heavily reliant on lads moving up to Dublin for work or college etc. A lot of people who move to Dublin say the thing they miss about home is the country club community feel. Were very different to most club in Dublin in this regard who are large urban or even super clubs.

There are actually very few, if any players working as Civil Servants now. We've got players from all walks of life and from all 4 corners of the country. They only reason they might be off Monday is cause of the beer on Sunday  :)

Civil Service Hurling Club have 2 teams and are on the lookout for new players for 2020. As we do not have any underage system we are on the lookout for players of all abilities who are interested in playing hurling.

In line with our club motto "A Country Club in the heart of the Capital", players have joined us from all corners of the country from Cork to Donegal. If you have just moved to Dublin or haven't played in years, there is a place for you.

Located in the War Memorial Gardens, Islandbridge, Dublin 8, our club grounds are ideally located just a stone's throw away from Heuston Station.

Please PM or reach out to our Facebook/Twitter/Instagram pages for further details with training recommencing in January.
