Anzhi Makhachkala

Liverpool apparently offered Henderson (plus cash) to Fulham in exchange for Dempsey.
Henderson said no so looks like deal is off unless a cash bid is made.
Villa have had a cash bid accepted.

Expecting a busy day tomorrow with website down by 10pm. Rumoured ins include Walcott, Dempsey, Sturridge, Llorente. Would be happy with the first 2!

Sturridge and Dempsey I reckon.
Adam and Cole out the door.

Reina is starting to become a liability.
He is.
Listening to the Anfield Wrap podcast today and they reckon he was as much at fault for Skrtels mistake v Man City as Skrtel was.
They were saying he should have been further forward in his box to receive the pass back and they were comparing him to Vorm last year at Swansea and how Vorm more suited Rodgers style of play.
Bit odd saying a Goalie suits a style of play but I see where they are coming from.

have you nothing else to do ?

You don't keep a dog and bark yourself.
I have weeks of these downloaded and never listemed to one. Good?

Yeah I enjoy them anyway.
Always a bit of good banter and they talk a good bit of sense about the team.
I listen to them every week.

Liverpool were in 2nd gear for most of that match with Sundays game against Arsenal in mind.
Hearts score and Liverpool up it a few gears and score.
Pretty boring match but in the hat for the group stages so all is well.

Without a commitment to buy, I don't really know the value in this deal. If they don't have to buy him, I think I would just keep him, we don't have too many strikers at the minute.
He is obviously surplus to requirements and they don't have to pay £80 grand a week to keep him. I can't imagine many queueing up to pay even £15 million.

The style of play at West Ham will suit Carroll. Hopefully he shines there. I feel sorry for the lad, he worked hard for Liverpool but it just never worked out for him.

Have to agree and I also feel a bit for the lad.
The thing that made it so hard for him was something that he had no control over and had nothing to do with and that was his price tag.
If Liverpool had only paid 10 or 15mill for him the pressure from the media/fans etc would have been much less but with a price tag that large there was always going to be huge pressure and expectation on his shoulders.

Carroll has completed his loan move to West Ham.

No Adam in squad either, on his way out I'd imagine.
Subs: Jones, Johnson, Enrique, Agger, Coates, Borini, Sterling.

@BenSmithBBC - Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is in London to finalise a season-long loan move to West Ham. No commitment to buy.

So no money for him.
Hope it doesn't affect us bringing in players, I thought it was a sell to buy policy.
