Our boy wins it... a true Irish hero!!! ☘️ ☘️

Great fund raising tournament, brilliant for Ror's, best Irish golfer, ever

When his career is over he'll be Ireland's best ever sportsperson... if he's not already!!

And such a nice fella

Nice for a prod

I see he's looking forward to representing Ireland. Hopefully big Lowry keeps going in the same direction, multiple major winners for such a small island is unreal.

Whats the numbers of official golfers (is that the term used?) in the States? I mean the ones that play for a club?
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Any word on when the courses are opening?
Monday
In the south or up here in the UK?

There will be an announcement on Tuesday regarding the occupied six counties.
Any idea when golf might be opened up to non-members in NI?

Give it a few days for members to get their fill and then give the courses with a small membership a buzz.

I think that's for members only.  Had a quick look at GUI FAQ and seems that members will be able to invite guests during Stage 2 in NI.

And each course can make their own decisions about who can play, as long as they at least abide by the GUI/ILGU guidance
Courses won't be open for random golf now bookings til Phase 3.

Now is a good time to join a golf club.

Enda Kenny out golfing looks a little different...

Played yesterday. Have recently had three cortisone injections in my shoulders. Was like a man possessed. 31 points for the day. Delighted to be back.

Nice one Gerry, how was your course?  My course kept greenkeepers on over the period, and from the Facebook pictures, the place looks fantastic.  Not out til next Tuesday, but looking forward to it.

Course was pristine. Only strange thing was no golfers near you. Teetimes were so far apart and limited to 3 balls meant very few golfers on the course. No hold-ups at all. Playing today and tomorrow. Wife is delighted to see the back of me for a while.

Played today as well. The course is in ridiculous condition and the weather was class. Great to be back out playing again.

Ridiculously good or ridiculously bad?
