A bit of a morbid one, but since hearing of Ray Wilkins passing away, there must be actually quite a few players who have played in the Premier League since it started in 1992, who are no longer with us. Can only think of a few off the top of my head, but surely there's a lot more:

Ray Wilkins
Liam Miller
Gary Speed
Dalian Atkinson
Les Sealey
Ugo Ehiogu
David Rocastle

Not that long ago. Within the last couple of years i think.

Forgot about tiote. Must be the youngest to die :(

Gary Ablett and Alan McDonald who probably both played in the early years of the premier league.
That was never a square ball!!

Tiote was no age. Forgot about him. And big Alan McDonald too. Heart attack on the golf course if I recall.

I thought not, but according to Wikipedia he played 13 games and scored 1 goal for Villa in the PL

He did indeed. 1992-93. Was fourth choice striker behind the above mentioned Atkinson, Dean Saunders, and a young Dwight Yorke.
