He  achieved top 4 last season. Scrapped over the line with no distraction of European football. That was fair enough .

They aren't progessing in the way they play, if they were they might look like a team who could win the League. Leicester playing without fear, one of the few good teams to watch, along with Arsenal and City.

Was talking about Moyes not getting to Europe... LVH did what he said he'd do.... Get back to top four, done, as for the rest, won't happen, plenty managers claim they will win this and do that... Its a sales pitch

If they don't make top 4, he should leave at the end of the season.

He seems like he is going through the motions, said the United the job will be his last in football ,at the end of his contract 2017.

Pochettino would be a decent choice.

Id rather he go as well unless he gets a decent /proven striker and changes it around... Utd do have some great talent but they will lose them very quickly unless things improve

The league has been average to poor for a four or five years now. Moyes would still be Manchester United manager now if he kept the champions of 2013 in the top four. Two top four finishes is more than likely under Van Gaal and from that he should see out his three year contract with the club.

The league has been on a downward spiral since about 2009, the matches between the big clubs were of really high quality.
As for Moyes you're right he'd have kept his job if we'd finished top 4, I don't think there's a manger ever been so out of depth at a big club ever and I don't think his 12 months in Spain has done anything to help his reputation.

I've backed LVG but I really doubt he'll be at the club next season if he finished 4th playing poor football, he'd need to win a trophy to keep his job. The fans have really turned on him, things really need to improve.

25 + years I suppose you'll take any win... Get sensible.. Liverpool and Utd are crap.. The silly wind ups over who plays crap one week isn't cutting the mustard... Delusional Utd men are as bad as delusional Liverpool supporters.. I don't know if you can remember when Liverpool won leagues, but I've seen them twice beat Utd at Old Trafford in the 80's while winning the league....great team... Not close or years of being close to what they had in past

So because both teams aren't what they once were, winding each other up is silly?

Rivalries make sport, whether the teams are good, bad or indifferent.

Silly in that both teams are keep turning up with egg on their face and it ain't as funny because none are actually winning anything... Its like someone said before, like two bald men fighting over a comb

I wouldn't be arsed with that shite but the players hate playing this way and it shows, it is supposed to entertain and they are completely shite to watch for the fans, if he does not finish in the top three with the money he spent and he wont he should get the road.

I have to say a little bit of me is worried that Jose may be on his way to OT.. I don't think I could cope with that

I dunno, I think his act has got old in England & he will take himself off somewhere else.

I think it's mutual. Everyone is bored of his attempts to be controversial (and any limelight he gets is for them being awful) and he appears to not give a fiddlers any more.

Jose is still one manager that the English media love and if he was to become the next England manager they would wet themselves with excitement.

I have been hopeful all season that LVGs downfall (along with Chelsea going bad) would result in Mourinho coming to Old Trafford.

His teams play worse football than United do currently, would not want him near the place.

Bingo

With talk that Pep handing his notice in at Bayern and leaving at end of the season will these mean that the 2 Manchester clubs, Chelsea and maybe Real (can't see that one) sitting tight until end of the season with the current gaffers with the hope of getting Pep in during the summer?
