So now Barry isn't the subject of the transfers any more, whos the next person that we will toil all summer to get on our books only to be shunned because of 'loyalty' to the current club!!!

Kate does seem very boring though.

Got the impression they wanted to keep Lorraine and yer man in to this stage in the hope they'd crack up in the interviews, was a bit disappointed they didn't.

I thought he did!

Think rostrevors game against drumaness in the B championship  was called off tonight - whether that down to drumaness not being able to field or something else i dont know.

Original idea for the show was good, but as a few people have said it has got boring now its been on for so long. Always one or two good characters in it each year but what i find interesting about it is how they change from the people they are when they go in, to the people they develop into! Some monsters have been unearthed!!!

Don't know if its been mentioned already or not in this thread but don't want to go through all the posts - has anyone read the book 'eats shoots and leaves'? awfully funny book regarding spelling, punctuation and grammar!!

This is where the name comes from:

A panda walks into a restaurant, sits down and orders a sandwich. After he finishes eating the sandwich, the panda pulls out a gun and shoots the waiter, and then stands up to go. "Hey!" shouts the manager. "Where are you going? You just shot my waiter and you didn't pay for your sandwich!"

The panda yells back at the manager, "Hey man, I am a PANDA! Look it up!"

The manager opens his poorly punctuated dictionary and sees the following definition for panda: "A tree-dwelling marsupial of Asian origin, characterised by distinct black and white colouring. Eats, shoots and leaves."

can't believe thon wee girl got through either. She wasnt much better the second time!! Have to say the acts that were chosen for each night this week were hand picked awful carefully, didnt see susan boyle up against yer man smith or that other wee singer! Could near predict each night who was gonna go through! interesting to see who wins it now though!

Not 100% sure....in the majors everyone who plays gets something I think, but in ordinary tour events I think you have to make the cut to get anything.

yeh this is the case, whoever comes last on sunday will get around £1,500 probably!

Saval 1-12
Rostrevor 0-11

Another poor performance from the lads tonight. Did well to get back into it and go in a draw at half time but shocking second half from the reds. Credit to saval and espeically danny hughes he kicked some super scores, id say he had a tally of about 1-8, he was awesome. Monk cole came on after ten mins for us when we were 6-1 down and changed the game until half time! He got injured in second half, think it was his shoulder as he was in a sling, hopefully it wont be too serious. We're letting our good start slip now and the boys will have to produce a lot better performances than this in the rest of the league to get near the top four, and to also stay in the championship for more than one game!!!

Brilliant!
:D

very good  :D

lorraine should have gone before howard, dont think she has enough of a creative mind, she went on about taking risks a lot but never really showed enough desire to push her ideas, and this was caught on to by alan at the end.

Someone mentioned earlier about Barce's values, and the fact that they haven't 'hoored' out their jersey. I'll be honest, and say I am being a bit harsh here but this 'more than a club' thing sickens my hole.

Chelsea are more than a club to me, and I am sure likewise Lpool, United, Villa etc to whom it concerns.

I know what you mean. Every club has their mythology, but Barca's can be especially cloying. It's not as if they don't change their jersey as often as everyone else.

i agree, i think its more down to fans that make a club 'more than a club' rather than what they have or dont have on their jerseys! newcastle are just as much of a club as barca and they are after gettin relegated, but their fan base is superb whatever the weather!

if we got half of those including silva that would be all we needed for next season! we dont need 8 or 9 new faces just 2 or 3 quality ones!
