What's the story here, is Mcdonnell going to have the services of any county regulars?  Wouldn't mind going up for a nosey if it was worthwhile.  Maybe I've missed it but has McD named his backroom team yet ???

I'm having a problem with my computer and seeking some/any help or advice! When I try to log in, the computer seems to be in some sort of safe mode, and the wallpaper/background picture appears to resemble a photo negative, with all the icons and font large in size. When the computer starts up, there is a window opens which reads,

'Rftray has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL. Rftray will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer' .

Attempts to restart the computer have no effect. I should add, to further complicate matters, that although the keyboard is working, the mouse is not, which obviously adds to the difficulties.

The computer operating system is windows 2000. The computer itself dates from early 2001, and the spec reflects that. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Excellent supplement in today's Sunday Times.  A few things I noticed form the coverage: Dublin and Tyrone are being virtually written off by most commentators; there is an assumption that Armagh are clearly done; it's Kerry's to lose.

General discussion / Armagh Rovers V Lithuania Utd
April 29, 2007, 09:45:52 PM
I hear there was murder at a local Lonsdale League game at the weekend between Armagh Rovers and Lithuania Utd(based in Benburb).  Lithuania Utd's 'fans' have a reputation for being drunks who intimidate rival teams, seems things got carried away at the weekend when the Lithuanian team and supporters kicked the dung out of the Rover's team and the Referee!! rovers' players are meant to have had to flee into a nearby housing estate for cover.  PSNI were rang but couldn't make it as they were busy.  All allegedly of course.

Must send an e-mail to the bbcni and utv to get on it right away :-\

Any eye witnesses??

Saturday@3pm in Hyde Park
Mayo v Laois

Sunday @3pm in Portlaoise

Armagh v Cork

Possible tv coverage for the Saturday game, but not likely for Armagh's game as the League final is on at 4pm(which is sh1t as I'll not be able to get :-[).  Cork seemingly are very strong, hard to gauge on here as there are so few Cork men about.

GAA Discussion / Galway v Armagh
February 22, 2007, 11:12:04 AM
Armagh team for sunday:
Armagh: C McKinney, A Mallon, E McNulty, F Moriarty, P McCreesh, C McKeever, T McClelland, G Swift, C Vernon, P Toal, J Lavery, M O'Rourke, S McDonnell, P Keenan, M O'Rourke. Subs: P Rodgers, B Donaghy, K Dyas, M Ferris, P Forker, S Forker,G McCreesh, JP Donnelly, K McGeeney, P McGrane, K Toner.

Glad to see Nippy & Charlie getting another chance in Mf, it didn't happen for them the last time out against Louth.  Vernon was MOTM for Queens yesterday against UCD by the sounds of it, scoring 0-3 from MF, so he can clearly play the position.

1.30 throw in.

GAA Discussion / Cremartin U21 Football Tournament
January 27, 2007, 06:23:32 PM
Went to watch Armagh v Tyrone this morning in Edendork.  Tyrone won fairly handily 2-11(ish) to 1-6(ish).  Armagh had maybe 3 players who would expect to start come championship time, the rest were made up of trialists and only a few made any impression.  Don't know how strong Tyrone were, but C Kavanagh and R Mulgrew started in MF, I'd suggest they were closer to a championship 15 than Armagh.  Cavanagh and Mulgrew basically ran the show for Tyrone only Lavery for Armagh around Mf putting in any sort of shift.  The 3 established Armagh players were Vernon@FB, and LAvery and G O'Neill in MF.  I dont really pay much attention to the opposition on days like these, but apart from MF the Tyrone corner back(2) was excellent.

The game itself wasn't up to much, a howling wind dictating the play mostly, Tyrone went in at the half with about 1-10 scored and as much again put wide, Armagh had 0-2, both frees.  The wind helped Armagh in the second half, but most of their scores game from frees and indeed the goal came from a 50 that O'Neill punched to the net after a scramble in the goalmouth.
