I'd agree on going to deep, would expect him to recover to compete with Pog ok. Watching something recently that said Vingegaard had added more muscle over the winter and is heavier than recent years, so that Power 2 Weight ratio could be interesting in the high mountains.

Quote from: bennydorano on July 10, 2025, 09:12:52 AMIs Gilligan ready for the N1 position? Different ballgame to being a coach among 3 or 4 contributing coaches. Donaghy supposedly gone from Armagh - which was expected anyway. I'd take a backroom refresh over finding a replacement for McGeeney.

Armagh only really pushed on when Donaghy got involved. McGeeney was there long enough at that stage.
He's manager over good days & bad, He's responsible for them all, coaches are coaches. We've had this type of revisionism in Armagh 20 years ago with Paul Grimley v Joe Kernan, the revisionists had Grimley as the mastermind.

Jesus that seems wild, Derry did actually look like they had turned a corner. RG must have sent out the vibes. I'm not sure RG would prosper with these new rules either.

My bad, I'm very wary of such things but thought it was true / legit - it's certainly believable.

Watching my first live Lions this morning (on the sofa). RU has gone to the dogs in Australia.

Some of the blind eyes turned and bye balls he gets are hilarious. The golf swing were the sycophants cheer at his 'shot' as he puts the missed ball (off the Tee) into his pocket is my favourite to date.

What will the history books say in 20/30 years I wonder.

Players already back a week or two and looking very much like a summer of biscuit tin transfers. Hopefully there's big irons in the fire

I think on Sunday Kerry did a number on Crealey, he got the treatment, plus I think he gassed easily in the heat. Grimley was just poor. So Rafferty's options weren't great anywhere, but he wasn't good either.

You'd have to think the Louth job would appeal to Oisin McConville, but Louth are an attractive proposition these days, they might have their sights set higher.

Black Velvet Band

Tough choosing a top 3. Favourite band a shame I wasn't alive when they were in their pomp would have loved to have seen Luke Kelly live.
Went to see the Legend of Luke Kelly tribute (Chris Kavanagh) in Armagh theatre last Christmas  - superb show, he's a regular up north, well worth a visit.
