Quote from: Eire90 on November 19, 2023, 12:54:58 AMIs there a lot of counties were league is not taking serious a seen as a warm up to championship

Whats the point of the leagues then if they are essentially glorified challenge matches?

Junior football in Antrim a very low standard compared to the rest of Ulster.

Hope none of the Derrygonnelly lads or their families have anything going in their personal lives that the Kilcoo c***ts will target.
kilcoo must be living rent free in your head
Not really. If you could be bothered theres posts of me supporting them, huge fan of theirs in terms of what they've achieved as a small rural club but can't condone mocking lads dead relatives or mocking victims of child sex abuse.

Ah but sure here, they are pure winners and thats what it takes  ::)

Ritchie Donnelly has to be MOTM for me.  A colossus at midfield.  He has really stepped out of the shadow of Matty this championship for Trillick. Has shown he is a top class player, fair play to Trillick, just wanted it more.  Errigal where maybe thinking about Crossmaglen before that match yesterday

Hard to do 2 in a row in Tyrone

The people of trillick will be already home by the time the second half starts.

Yes, they will win the county final with something to spare. The only team I can see who should be able to beat them is Kilmacud Crokes. Do ulster play leinster in the AI semi or final?

Quote from: statto on October 15, 2023, 12:55:25 PMStreamed the 2 semi finals yesterday was  disappointed by derrylaughan first game thought Kennedy was very poor lad duffin in middle right footballer for plunketts.colly cavanagh is a rolls Royce of player second semi had a feel of a semi final first game though was very flat dont know if that was due to early throw in.

Derrylaughan's final was against Stewartstown.

Wasn't much of a final that one, Stewartstown wouldn't of beat Dregish that night

It was a final for Derrylaughan not Stewartstown. Derrylaughan have got progressively worse in each game since the first round. Similar happened in 2014 when they won easily in the first round only to be dumped out in the 1/4 Finals. They don't get up for other teams same way they do against Stewartstown.

You've taken that championship hammering badly CS  ;D

Quote from: ck on October 06, 2023, 08:25:37 AMYou'll get 3/1 for Dunloy this weekend. Could they produce the biggest upset in Antrim in a long time? Should be interesting at very least, but I just can't see it.

Probably should be about 10/1. I think Cargin at a canter.

Rosary beads in hand next week

If there's not 10 points in this against a div 3 team I'd be surprised

I'd agree with this in all seriousness,  I think we are in for a one sided final,  I expect Cargin by 8 or 9 points. Would like to be wrong but I just don't see how they get close to Cargin who are miles ahead of anyone else in footballing terms right now.

Junior championship to stay as is, league to split in two. Massive gap between top and bottom of D3. A split league would give the bottom half teams something achievable to work towards. 3A and 3B both in Junior championship still gives lower half clubs a crack at a big day out.

Small clubs will always have lean spells - Brocagh and Killyman aren't anywhere near amalgamation stage. Will no doubt take a few more trimmings over the next while but we've the stomach to stick it out and bring our youth through.

How come there is always a phone symbol beside your posts Laceer?

Was there a prior connection between the Downey's and St Brigid's or how did that come about? Obviously they've fallen out with Lavey so had to go play somewhere but presumably there was some reason St Brigid's were the chosen club.

Their mother's club AFAIK

Will the people on here be a wee bit more comforted knowing this information and they not just some random blow ins?
