Watched kavanagh play on several occassions when Augher were in grade 1. He didnt give some of the best defenders at club level too much difficulty let alone county level. Decent player though the kind that could rack up a good score against a team bottom of div 2

It is just me or is that not madness for a county man to book stag in middle of what is always championship time. I know the county calendar makes it difficult but jesus oh....tatts will have some chance to make a semi final now

Wouldnt say its madness, just a player that doesnt really give a sh*t about his club.

Did the Tyrone players really believe they could beat Dublin yesterday?  I honestly think they didn't.  When Dublin scored the penalty which was only to level the game you could see Tyrones head drop.  Surely if the had of had belief they would have seen it for what it should have been, a score to level the game' composed themselves and went at again for next 15 or so mins the way they want at for the first 20. Instead it appeared as they said 'f*@k this, we gave them everything for 20mins and we are still level, we are not going to beat them'.

Quite possibly but its a fine line. Something I have been concerned about this Tyrone team is leadership.... When something like that happens especially against Dublin who just start riding the crest of a wave after a goal we need to reply immediately... when we score a goal we need to add the next point immediately. Dooher used to be a great man for recognising that and would often provide that moment of leadership that would lift the rest of the team. Its critical

Some really innovative thinking going on here. Try and score points...  This man must have managerial experience

We all know the problems with sugar and I try to avoid it for myself and my family with great zealotry....But Id eat traditional sugar it all day over this crap!

It might sound simple but just avoid processed foods. In practice tho it is extremely difficult

BTW on yogurt just go for the unsweetened natural stuff, after a while you'll prefer it, the other stuff you may as well be eating skittles.

I do! And the children are converted at home now too but cant stop them consuming them at friends or familys houses etc. Yeah less processed foods in diet the better but not practical all the time and dont see why when you consume them they should be allowed to contain this crap. Think weve jumped right out of the frying pan and into the fire on this one.

Has anyone else noticed the proliferation of these in our food and drink? They are proven to increase the risk of type 2 diabetes and obesity and suspected of many worse crimes. When the worse side effects are not yet discounted I feel that they shouldnt be now concealed in so many consumable products. It is almost impossible to find a cordial or squash without these or a childrens toothpaste. Childrens so called 'healthy' snacks and yogurts is another source. There is far too much sugar used in the manufacture of our food and drink but instead of reducing the sweetness of our food and allowing our taste buds to adjust companies have laced our food and drink with something which may turn out to be even worse. At the very least I believe a note saying 'contains artificial sweetners' should be visable on the front of these products.

I don't understand this and why people don't get it. SF voters vote for them not to take their seats.

Here's the thing that p*sses me off.  Once they are elected, they are elected to represent the all the people of their constituency, not just the people that voted for them.

These are crucial times for us and they could and should be in Westminster casting votes which could really affect the future of everybody in the North.  Unless they are quietly happy for a hard brexit to happen as they believe that would increase the likelihood of a united ireland in the near future.

Tyronegaa.ie has the next round of senior club fixtures down for sun 29th July ( the week break between round 2 & 3 of super 8s). Surely this will be pulled if Tyrone beat Cork? Or are they speculating that round 3 will be a dead rubber and this will go ahead? Confused as to why they would put it up if its almost certain to be pulled.

Do we think the top 4 is set now?
Personally I think the only change could possibly be Donaghmore who play Dromore and I think the winner of that game will secure the final 4th position as at the minute there is only 1 point between the sides.

Also an interesting fact I heard today but surely it cant be true is that before the weekend it was 27 years since Trillick had beaten Dromore??

It was 13 years 3 of which they weren't in the same division and the last 4 of which have been starred games but dont let tbe truth get in the way of a good story! 27 years sounds better

The current system of matching teams against each other purely on the basis of numbers of county men is flawed.
1. Not all county men are of equal ability
2. Some teams have larger panels and can better absorb the loss of couny men.

A system using a table of performance in starred games from the previous year would work better even if it meant teams with no county men playing teams with 2 or 3

Anyone else hear that there is talk of an additional point for a win in a non starred game for next year? Designed im told to stop clubs putting pressure on men not getting game time with county to quit and focus on their clubs.

Embarrassing stuff. A complaint on the basis that it shouldnt have been 15 v 15? Conceeding therefore that we couldnt beat them with same number of men on the field but needed the advantage of an extra man to do so..

I don't agree with the appeal but your logic above is foolish.... by the same thinking everytime an opposing team had a player sent off should the benefiting team say let him stay on sure if we can't beat them with 15 its not a really a victory!!!!!  ::)

Only by the same thinking if you are stupid. A sending off during a game is not the same as a team starting extra time or a replay without their full complement of players.  Whether or not you agree with that rule is a different story but it is not the same. The evidence that they could not win 15 v 15 was that they could not do so in normal time nor could they do it in extra time. Nor indeed could they do it in extra extra time.
