the Democrats really have a great scapegoat in trump blame him for everything even in states and cities they have run for decades, Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, Minneapolis terrible places to live for black people and super dangerous for the communities that live there. Los Angeles 65k homeless San Francisco nobody on the streets only zombies , California will have no middle class soon only very rich and poor people ,the state can't even guarantee electricity to stay on in summer months , Portland and Seattle have the most liberal policies in the country but the loons are still not happy and riot almost nightly..Add the murder rate in nyc and Chicago and other liberal cities going through the roof weekly and it should give you a snapshot of the country in the future .

He is rightly getting plenty of blame for a number of things from his incompetence to his corruption/self-dealing to his bigoted rhetoric and policies to his embracing of conspiracy theories and anti-intellectualism (although most of the latter are standard GOP fare, in fairness).

2.   Tell us Gmac, what the GOP is trying to do to help these inner city communities which, like many large cities in a capitalist system, are full of poverty and crime? How are conservative poliices going to bring in a bright new future instead of this "American Carnage" you're so confidently predicting? What does the GOP have to offer a poor, single black mother with a couple of kids? What is the GOP solution to homelessness or gentrification or healthcare?

who's blaming trump ? Have you been asleep for the last 5 months ,America is a racist country and it's because trump is the president is what I hear , why is the mayor of nyc painting blm on the street outside trump tower ?  Here's the thing about gentrification in these cities the politicians don't want any poor people or shitty old buildings in their cities there's no money in that for them .
They want property taxes , planning and building department fees from upgrades and new buildings which go to school districts and keep city budgets afloat , they want to do inspections on the buildings which creates more fees , they add in one or two low income housing here and there to cover their ass and they are corrupt also , the head building inspector and public works head were both arrested in San Francisco in the last year . Not sure what gop would do but it couldn't be any worse
