That is 2 red cards Fred has got away with tonight. One for a headbutt. The other the ref actually books the player who was fouled instead of Fred.

He should have booked the 1st guy for being a big girls blouse too  ;D

A decent manager would have taken him off. Crazy from OGS.

Terrible decision to leave him on for second half.

A madcap match. Would have been game over if Fred saw red first half and to be honest Martial got sent off for less against Spurs this season.

The misses by United, Martial sitter especially 2nd half would have secured Uniteds place in the knock out stage but instead not taken and ended up counting the cost of those misses.

Fred eventually did see red and moments before it PSG got a lucky 2nd goal that on another night could be flagged for offside.  Was no way back for United then. 3rd goal important also as PSG will now top the group while doubtful if United can avoid defeat in Germany if they don't the result in Istanbul will come back to haunt the most.

Very poor management by Ole. Fred shouldve went in 1st half but not to sub him at HT was crazy . Missed some amount of chances. I cant bear another europa league campaign. Dreadful comp. I dont think red bull are that great but neither are we. Why was cavani taken off?? Then to put all Hope's on a kid??? Fuming after that. That was lost from the dugout.

Game lost on the sidelines for sure.  Should never have been in the position to need something from last 2 games anyway given the start to the group they had. On the plus side RB Leipzig have conceded 10 goals so far.

Compare that goal to Mane against Everton or even Salah the weekend just gone. Clearly more offside, yet, in Europe, its given.

It seemed many people thought Fred should have been hooked at half time, so it's not being wise after the event and was a mistake by OGS. However, I thought Martial missing an open goal (miles over btw) was more important than not taking Fred off imo. Also Cavani being quite unlucky to hit the crossbar, and Martial again making a balls of the follow up.

I only saw the second half and thought United were the better team for most of it. A pity, as it was a great chance to rid the competition of PSG. But when you miss chances like that, it's just about inevitable that you'll pay the price at the other end.

Main Street

The yellow card for the forehead contact by Fred was the correct one as the force used was between non existant and negligble. The PSG player should have been cautioned also. With all the hysteria about Fred's 'but', what is missed are those two vital elements, neglible force and simulation of injury. Fred was fortunate to avoid a caution for another incident, that's why he should have been replaced at ht. He had already crossed the line after the first yellow.

A good away win against a West ham side that has taken points off Man City, Spurs, Wolves and Leicester this season.

Looked to be heading for a defeat until the impact off the bench by Bruno, Rashford. 3 well finished goals and could have scored a few more.

Tonights 1st performance won't be good enough to get a result against RB Leipzig and speaking of Leipzig they drew 3-3 away to Bayern Munich tonight.

Ludicrous to allow that first goal though.

Ball clearly had travelled out of play from where the ball landed. Zero common sense applied, and what the hell was the linesman at?

Maroon Manc

Add this to the long list of bizarre matches we've had this season, from the ridiculous to the sublime for the umpteenth time this season. United could have easily been 3 or 4 down at half time but could have won 4 or 5-1 in the end, whatever happens to Ole this United side has so much talent in attacking areas.

There was a crucial goal given against United v PSG during the week that would have been offside if it was the EPL VAR. These things happen and they're a pain when they go against the team you're rooting for. Soccer must be the only sport in the world that technology has made significantly worse - quite a feat!
