Quote from: inroundthesquare on March 26, 2024, 09:19:41 PMWhat happened to the streaming on Ulster Gaa TV? First two weeks had a game each, none last week and none advertised for this week either. Would have thought Derry v Tyrone would be worth showing

Match is on here https://page.inplayer.com/ulstergaatv/

Quote from: thegooch13 on October 09, 2023, 02:08:23 PMI dont think it was a straight red. Defo a second yellow yes, but to give him a straight red which means he will miss the ulster champ game? Id say he will get it overturned

Is the red not applicable to the first round of Antrim next year. Red cards are one game in the same competition.

Ulster will be a different competition.

Stumbled across Only Murders in the Building at the weekend. Enjoyed it.

A comedy murder, mystery with Steve Martin.

Funnily enough, I stumbled across it a few weeks ago too. Highly recommend it.

Season 3 is currently on, at least in the states.

Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd added to the cast.

Steve Martin and Martin Short are a brilliant comic double act, although Steve Martin is more of a straight man in this show.

Brilliant show - I now look forward to the new season each summer!

When I started watching I assumed season one was current. Was surprised that S3 has dropped.

It's one I have heard no one talking about.

Some of the stuff Carragher comes out with is baffling.

True. He's right about the red card though. The rules changed this year. Well they were supposed to....

Does that rule not only apply if it's inside the box?

The referee has to apply his interpretation of the rules at times as the rules are vague.
We were discussing the double bounce for the Kerry goal on the Antrim thread. The belief is that a ball has only been bounced if it returns to the player's hands. Where have we got that from as it's not mentioned in the rules?

It is on page 96 of the rules (https://www.gaa.ie/api/pdfs/image/upload/vybckve2iipp56xmjhqd.pdf)

"For a player who has caught
the ball to play the ball against
the ground with his hand(s)
and to catch it on return to his
hand(s) again."

what was the earliest club league ever started.

From the records I have 15th March 1981 and 15th March 1987 are the earliest but don't have any details from the 70s.

Raphoe

Strabane- Abercorn Square was likely a gathering point and was located beside the old cattle market and just 100 yards from the old train station.

Anyone have any experience of Fibrus? I see they are 'in my locality' now!

There is a Fibrus user group on Facebook worth joining
Plenty of good and bad reviews
Private group called: Fibrus User Group
Ulster Farmers Union membership gets you a discount of their offers

Good job- Thanks

Snoop

I was over last week and had the same query. There doesnt appear to be a coach from John Lennon to Manchester.

I took a bus from the airport to Parkway South which is 15/20 mins and there depending you might get a train to Manchester or you can take a 5 min train to Lime St where options are greater.

A taxi from JLA to Parkway was £15 for a 2 mile journey so avoid that. The bus is £2.

Seems odd you have to go back to Liverpool and back on yourself to get to Manchester.
