I'm going to be stationed in Dublin's fair city for a wee while, looking for the handiest driving range if I'm stationed in hotels around the city centre.  I've heard there's one at Castleknock (Elm Green).  Any other suggestions?

There is one across from the airport behind the Ulster Bank beside the Coachman's pub. There are two in the Portmarnock area just off the Malahide Road, one very new one. Take the first right after the Garden Centre about half a mile north of the Hilton.

The one at the Coachman's is good - I use it a good bit, also an easy drive (geddit, geddit) from town.

The Leader Garrigus stood on the 18th with a three shot advantage, took out a hybrid and knocked it into the water. Went to pitch over trees with an 8 iron, hit it into the trees, made 7 to go into a playoff with Westwood and Karllsson. Westwood had finished ealier and about to head home. Westwood won on 4th playoff hole

I think after taking 7 on the final par 4, the whole world was behind Garrigus for the play-off who has been around a long time but never won on tour. He out drove Westwood and Karllsson on the first play-off hole but cruelly, his ball ended up right behind the trunk of a tree.

Garrigus seems like a decent bloke, but must suffers more than others from sweating on a hot humid day.

Jaysus I was gutted for the poor man especially after
the drive with the 3 wood landing behind the tree.
He even hit himself in the bake with the putter at the finish up
such was his day  :'(

great watching, felt for him on the last tee, he choked up on a hybrid, when he was hitting his driver full and straight all day. Feherty's comment on the last was pretty much on the money, for his second shot, the caddy should have handed him the wedge and walked back around the water instead of that 6 iron...

great story developing here for simon thornton - second at the bmw in munich. he just came thro q school last year, despite the headlines a lot of golfers are not far from the breadline esp those outside the top 200 in the world rankings. hope he can hang on or even win

3 over for his last 4 holes, i think that ship has saled unfortunately.  He has been getting himself onto a couple of leaderboards recently though, if he can keep that up and win a few quid, it'll give him more confidence to press on and win someday.

Could be a 4 man playoff here.

:D :D

Knew there had to a good line there somewhere.
Just backed Bubba there, hoping he'll birdie the last and make the play-off.
