That's as comprehensive a beating as the Liverpool game, be surprised if Ole survives, it United have any ambition at all he should be chased.

I think it's been a case of them sticking with Ole, to say 'we're not a sacking club'. But the longer it goes on, the worse it becomes.

But would it be any better with a new manager? The best manager in the world would need 2 seasons to shift all that dead wood. And there is a shit load of dead wood.  All this talk of United having a good squad is nonsense. The squad is piss poor. Especially in key positions.

Yes. McTominay Rashford Greenwood AWB Lingard Matic Bailly Lindelof etc are squad players at best. But that's half of this current team!

CM is a joke. The defence is a joke. The goalkeeper is  poor and two 30+ strikers are leading the front. Where/who are the leaders? Who do you look to when things aren't going well? Who will grab the game by the throat and inspire those around him?

Jesus, it's not difficult to coach intensity, heart, effort and passion, you either have it or you don't! Those are basic skills you'd expect your team to put in for the manager/club/supporters/themselves.

You've either have those basics or you don't. Ole isn't getting the basics from his team

Surely that's all a given at that level.

You have to coach organization and systems and drill the f**k out them. Because your opponent will generally have done so. That's when having the better players should count.

Liverpool and City play the same basic way every week (except when Pep loses the run of himself for big CL games). All the players know what's expected and where everyone fits in.

United are stumbling from one formation to the next, with no one sure what the fucks going on! Their individual class will make the difference against the shit teams, but when they come up against teams with equally good players, they can't cope against the opposing system.
