Bannon and Breitbart are standing by what he is quoted as having said. Trump's lawyers are trying to gag everyone. While the chaotic administration has been plain to see from day one and isn't exactly news.

I'm sure there will be errors and people disputing their quotes, whether true or not, but that's always the way. And there obviously is some poetic license in the reconstruction of dialogue such as in the New York magazine piece. But Bannon, for one, is not disavowing those quotes.
