General discussion / Re: ski Holiday any good ?
September 28, 2007, 04:10:38 PM
Sking is a first class holiday, a sun holiday doesn't compare at all.  Went skiing for the first time 2 years ago, then went twice last year and twice this year.  Have booked for January 26 of us going.  Great holiday to do in a group.

Been to Val Di Fassa, Les Deux Alpes, Alpe d'Huez, Pomporovo and Livigno.

Pomporovo was very cheap and Livigno is also cheap as it is a tax free resort.  Pomporovo be good if all beginners, wider range of skiing available in Livigno

Here's a larger one, it was a smaller one which I enlarged so it might be abit rough round the edges in places.

Follow the links for Fixtures, Football, Intermediate.

Where does this leave Aghagallon?
I thought this had been brushed aside. What a mess it's turning into.

If you look at the guestbook it has been explained. Technical Glitch

Anyone know or anywhere doing good deals on skiing holidays (not Bulgaria) for the End of Jan/first week in Feb. talking 4-6 people mixed men and women but somewhere with a bit of night life and good for Beginner and Intermediate skiers,

You could try Livigno, should get a reasonable deal, its fairly high up so should be guaranteed snow and fairly cheap in resort.  I'm organising a group of 26 to go there on the 26th Janaury.

Or Download and install this free utility

Then just go to the folder where the images you want resized, highlight the images you want resized and right click and select resize.

I'm with Rois on the skiing, go skiing twice rather than any sun holiday.
Nothing booked yet, might go to Livigno again.

Max, Thats one to ask the Feile Committee. As far as i know it has somehting to do with the Division your county played int he previous year.  If a team from a county wins a division one year i think they are in a division higher the next year.
Stinsons actually beat Magherafelt in a friendly before the Feile Finals but you can't read too much into that.

Onion Bag, Ballycastle may be your best bet for a friendly in that area.  They play in Division 6.  Dunloy of Glenravel would probably be the other closest teams but they play in Division 1 and 2.
