I noticed He has a bad habit of cutting across people (ex-players) when they are talking and kinda dismisses their opinions.

Mayo All-Star goalkeeper David Clarke has been ruled out of the crucial Mayo versus Donegal Super 8s game in Elverys MacHale Park tomorrow evening (Saturday) at 6 p.m.

Clarke picked up an injury in training and his place between the posts will be taken by Robert Hennelly for this winner-takes-all clash.

Donal Vaughan has also picked up an injury and is not in the named starting 15.

While Patrick Durcan, Keith Higgins, Matthew Ruane and Diarmuid O'Connor are not named in the team, it is expected that Durcan, Higgins and Ruane will be on the bench. There is still a slight worry about Diarmuid O'Connor.

Would have to wonder who is the mole in the current Mayo senior set up leaking this news to the Con telegraph.?

Can anyone confirm that Tom Parsons lined out for Charlestown in the past week? If true it's close to a miracle.

No. I was at the Knockmore v Charlestown and he wasn't named.

Seen Tom Parsons running across the pitch at half time. He was moving well!

Certainly made hard work of it. Very flat and stale first half, that was to be expected after losing by 9 and 10 points the week before. Heard Higgins had a bit of a knock. Forwards were awful in the first half. Lot of poor decisions made by our players too. Hard to believe we managed to win it, as usually the opposition would make us pay in some fashion. Next Donegal in Castlebar, based on today we won't get within 5 of them.

This was our 5th week out in a row. We had no Higgins, Ruane, Diarmuid and Paddy. Played for the main part sh1te and we still won by 9 points.

And not to forget that Aidan O'Se is carrying an injury. Not a bad result when all that is considered.

As I was entering the ground I couldn't work out why there was such a crush.
It turns out that every part of the stadium is accessed from one set of gates.

It's worse going out I'd say. We walked out the gate at corner of pitch opposite the stand and it was malogen.

If you intend just doing a bit of cycling but not going down the racing route you might want to consider SPD shoes and pedals as the cleats are recessed and means you can walk in the shoes without your toes sticking in the air. They tend to be more for commuters and mountain bikers but perfectly adequate for road use as well. Plenty of shoes on the market will take either type of cleat.You can get perfectly decent shoes for about £50 but obviously the pedals have to be bought as well. Shimano m324 pedals are a good choice if you want to be able to ride in the cleats or with trainers on. (double sided)

Thank you very much for the advice that's great. I intend to cycle just to get healthier not to enter a race. Maybe join a cycling club to go on longer journeys in the future hopefully.

I am sure this has been covered already but looking for some advice of cycling shoes. I bought a racer a few years ago but was too lazy to use it. I now have a different mindset and began cycling a few weeks ago.. Only up to 30km yet and have gone out the last 3 Sunday mornings before the family are up.

I just wear a pair of runners but they don't fit into the pedal straps great so i was thinking of getting the proper shoes cycling shoes and of course i would need new pedals to suit.

Any advice on what make to get and where to buy would be great appreciated. .Thanks in advance.

Something that is bothering me is that there appears to be very little interaction with his selectors during the game. Another thing is that some of the fundamentals appear to have been completely over looked i.e not having identified free takers in advance instead of the nonsense we seen with O'Connor taking the ball off Loftus and giving it to MacLoughin. He also did not use his allocation of subs. Maybe there was no one better to put on but jeez you would think fresh legs at the end would have helped.

Best thing that happened Horan. Expectation will drop, he'll get a run of games together in low pressure environment and will be there in super 8's and shake up beyond. Only a fool would rule out Mayo despite Rossie game.

tere was no confusion over the free Diarmid as Captain made a call that McLaughlin would take it from the right had side . if it had gone over it woulf have been an example of great leadership . but it didn't and thems the breaks

I knew McLoughlin would miss, always does even in non pressure environments. Not absorbing him of blame though as he should've known it from every previous free he ever took from similar positions. Onto the backdoor. You'd hope Horan and co can learn from this game and try to organise forward shooting drills before the next one.

I thought the exact same. I was wondering, did Diarmuid instruct him to take it. Loftus was shaping up to take it.

Hello all. Just wondering if anyone has ever stayed in a  Yelloh Village Le Ranch camp site outside Nantes? We have never been on a holiday like this before and just looking for some opinions.

Have gone camping every year more or less since 2010 in France, have yet to be let down by any campsite. You'll have a ball. Just a different way of life.

The only holidays i have ever been on were in Ireland and Scotland so it will be something different alright. Do you mind me asking if you had young children with you? We will have a toddler
