Ziyech's goal for Chelsea was a clinker!

A super player when he hits form. Was a joy to watch when he was with Ajax.

Didn't get down to Callan this afternoon was listening on KCLR in 2nd half. Laois seemed to tire middle of 2nd half and a mix of Kilkenny kicking into gear.

Good to see John Lennon back even if he only got a half game. Hopefully gets a good run injury free this year.

Wolves have laid Utd a merry dance from the first whistle. Rashford should have stayed on the bench, the amount of times the ball has been given away!

Might as well stick to winning the champions league now

Full deserved win for Wolves. United were second best almost all the way through. Bruno should have buried that first chance. Phil Jones in fairness bar the header probably played better today than Maguire has all season. Speaks volumes that a lad away from game 2 years near enough United's best player today.

Ruben Neves. What a phenomenal player. Would surely be an better than what's there at the moment.

Same shite, different season.

Phil Jones starting alongside Varane today. Hope he goes well. Not overly optimistic about Utd's chances today.
When's the last time Jones played a proper game?

January 2020 in the FA Cup, not exactly sure when his last PL game was.

Burnley in January 22nd. Google's great!  ::)

Wolves far more dangerous look more likely to score.

anyone been to the Heritage Killenard in Laois, has a Seve designed golf course beside it.... ? would you recommend

Decent hotel, downgraded from a 5* to 4* when FBD group bought it out. Got a night away in it a few years back complimentary after buying engagement ring from jewellers. Haven't used the golf course yet but haven't heard a bad word from lads that have played it. Spa in it is good, good thermal suite. Food is good any time I was there before, maybe a little pricy but portions were generally good when I was there.. Close to motorway, Emo Court nice stroll about 5-10 mins drive, Kildare village down the road for shopping.
Seemed to be a good few families in it around Christmas time. Have own cinema in it and movies for kids if you're into that.

Hope that's of use.

Booked the Midlands Park for a few days away in February.  Seems decent enough but never sure with these things.  Anyone been?
Is that the one in Portlaoise?

Great carvery in it. Food is excellent. Rooms seem to be good too. Kelly's steakhouse across the road is a must as well if you're into your meats.

Anyone hear or see the minor hurling panel named?

Think there was a 50:50 split between U16s and 17s last year. Looked light against kildare.

I've heard only a handful (mainly harps) lads from this years 15s have been added. 1, if not 2, from port as well.

Good to see Port lads making it,if true

Good to see Port lads involved if true indeed.

Just for clarity, 3/1 for the win and evens with the handicap.

It will take a Laois type performance from 2019 game against Dublin for CB to get something from this. This is a seriously strong Crokes team, I'm living up in Dublin myself these days and from talking to a few of local GAA lads in the know the talk is this Crokes team are fancying there chances at taken down Ballyhale and going strong for the All Ireland.... hopefully that is in their thoughts tomorrow and they slightly underestimate the CB lads!

Full forward line for Kilmacud look very dangerous. If Clough Ballacolla manage to contain Ronan Hayes and Considine for as long as possible they'll have a great chance. I see Kilmacud winning by 5-6 points but I hope I'm proved wrong!

9 players that have come through academy at some point playing tonight. Must be a record. Agreed seem to fade in 2nd half. Elanga missing good chance though Young Boys had more chances to nick it.

St. loman's are probably stronger now than anytime that they were in the last ten years. Outside of Heslin who is a marquee full forward their middle third is dominated with players with senior intercounty experience. If you look at players of the calibre of Flanagan, Regan, McCartan, Dempsey and O'Toole each of them is currently or has been in with Westmeath at some stage recently. This is Portarlington's biggest test and a good barometer of how good the actually are.

Didn't they not play each other in a challenge match couple of weeks ago with Lomans coming out on top? Open to be corrected here. Would be great to see Port get a game in Croke Park if they get over the line on Sunday.

If we are talking shocking performance effort level look no further than Marcus.

Body language shocking, you would have thought with the new manager in the stand he would have been working his socks off but seemed to go the other way.

Good fighting performance if lacking still in direction and quality. Hopefully Ralph can get a system of play to allow them to go on a bit of a run.

Like a fella who was dragged to 5 a side to make up the numbers and was glad when it was over, demeanor throughout and when he was taken off was appalling, Martial-esque

Would like to say more of Greenwood over coming weeks too. I hope the arrival of Ronaldo won't stall his development as he's a better finisher than Rashford. It's fine learning off the pitch but he needs more games. Agree with Dalot given more of  a run in team.

Good to see Bruno end his goal drought too. Hopefully might kickstart some bit of form in him. Still too leaky at the back. I hope Ragnick can get them a bit better on the ball technically as some of the passing was shocking last night. As said above they've been very poor and playing in dribs and drabs.

Hard earned and much needed 3 points for United. Might have won more comfortably if such a bizarre opener wasn't conceded. 12 goals and 2 assists is not too shabby in 16 appearances for a 36 year old on his return. Plenty of issues with United on and off the field but Ronaldo is far down the list of issues. I'd say it was a big eye opener for the watching Rangnick.

Time will tell. Agree Ronaldo least of concerns atm. Took the chances well as he usually does. Hoping Sancho and Van de Beek get a decent run over the course of next few weeks too!  Looking forward to see how Rangnick will do. Hopefully some bit of rotation for Young boys game considering top is guaranteed.

A win's a win in context of where they're at at the moment. Ronaldo doing what he does best. 800+goals for club and country. Still quite sloppy in defence Aubameyang missing a sitter. Could have went either way. How referee didn't give penalty in real time is beyond me.
Hopefully United will go on a winning run over the Christmas with set of fixtures they have!

That Fred assist might have saved him from being hauled off at ht.

Out of nowhere and 1-1. Telles and maybe Dalot doing ok!

Fred should really not come out in the second half, he's as poor a PL footballer there's ever been

Stood on de gea for good measure. Should be 1-0 Arsenal

And is now 1-0.
