Don't know any of the lads apart from Rufus,  a pure gentleman who I met in HQ a few years ago.  Sincere condolences.

Very saddened to hear of the death of the great Phil McGinn, apart from raising a great family he was a storied educator, an author and was one of the best Gaels I ever had the pleasure of meeting.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially his son whom I had the pleasure of playing football with for years.

RIP Mr McGinn.

Welcome back Stew.

Rufus, very sorry to hear of your loss.

Sad, too, to hear of Phil McGinn's passing.  An Armagh GAA fixture for sure.

Very glad to have Stew back, though, albeit in a sombre context.

Yeah, according to Wiki he was born on 7 April 1930.  First played for Wales in 1951.  In the days before international games at every turn around he "only" played 29 times for Wales in 7 years.  Retired aged 28.

Declan

Remember my Dad telling me he saw him play for Bective when he was in Dublin
