That free  given to level it for Tyrone for McCurry simply diving to collect the ball

Then playing on minutes over, refusing to blow the final whistle until Monaghan got the ball

Rank amateur shite

He jumped on his back. Free all day and considering some of the soft frees given to Monaghan Tyrone were well due one. Minutes later when Kilpatrick had his shirt pulled over his head that was no free.
The ref had a stinker and the GAA should probably stand him down.

I see David Coldrick won't be referee for any of this year's championship as he failed the fitness test.

When are you standing in?

From the sideline.

It's the Tyrone Law in effect,  in any thread after Tyrone lose a game, it's inevitable that it  descends into Tyrone whataboutery and the ref conning them out of a deserved victory.

Throwing the ball is rampant in football. We once had a ref trying to enforce it after taking a refereeing course. He was blowing the whistle every couple of seconds because players were constantly throwing the ball. Guess who got lambasted?

Is there a list of the number of referees per county? You would have to think its getting less year on year. I think Cahair O'Kane tweeted Gaelic Football is a game that is becoming impossible to referee.

GAA refs are on the whole arguably on the whole much smaller and thinner than the average man

They all seem like they've never played and simply went down the ref route

Appreciate it takes players or ex players to stick the hand up and do it but some of the level of reffing on the national level is atrocious

That overcarrying call on O Hanlon etc....BIZARRE decisions again and again by wee Priesty, traffic wardens

WTF

Stop this slim shaming
