I have 3 pairs of the powerswerves-great boots, light but sturdy! If you could get them the best boots of all time are the Predator manias, released around 2002. God they are beautifull and a great boot to match. They are going for around £300 on ebay, I have a little bit of a football boot obsession I must admit! Always have more pairs than I need, a bit of a collector!

bought the blue and black ones that most of the rugby players wear, havent been out in them just yet tho.
think they should offer more grip and picked them up for £65 on adidas site...

link?

on this page, only have them in 7.5 and 8.5 now tho there are some others. think it is free delivery if you spend a certain amount too.use quidco if you have it also:

£300 for a pair of football boots, you'd need to be mental to buy those!  Always wore Puma King, can't fecking beat them.  I can't wear Addidas as I have plates of feet and they are too narrow.  It makes no odds what you wear though, it's how you wear them that makes the difference :P

Dont Totally agree that it makes no difference. For me the number 1 is comfort. If you are playing in a pair of boots that are uncomfortable, it will affect your performance. Paying £300 for a pair of boots to play in is crazy, but if you kept them mint they will be worth evn more in a few years. They started at the £120 mark and have steadily risen since-the only boots I know to have done that!

Great input into the conversation there muppet.  ::)

I wanted to get them black/blue preds again, the rugby ones, but cudnt get them. They are a wider fit, better fit for the owl ski's I call feet.

I always wore puma kings too (after years of usually buying puma boots from under 13's upwards)
so if BC1 and I both used Puma's - then maybe Addidas are your best bet !!

Naw, I wore Adidas they don,t work either.
Seriously though, I,d always take the weight of the boots in to consideration.

Can anyone give a review on the puma king xls. Are they better than the traditional puma kings?
