It's a pity we took a hammering off a team I think isn't going anywhere this year. If it was Dublin it would have almost tolerable. A lot of work to do on our system for next week and next year because it's just not giving us a chance in these sorts of games.

Has also been toxic with racism and thugs while England supporters have been the bain of other countries only this time they knew what would happen if they put a foot out of step in Russia. They don't own the game. Was great to see the hures beat.

What's that got to do with a comedy song that takes the piss out of themselves?

they don't take the piss out of themselves. They still like to think they're the master race.

spent a few years in England as well and the arrogance around the national team is unreal. They need to ditch that song for starters like they have some ownership on the game and entitlement.

Why on earth would they ditch it?

It's a brilliant song - full of self-deprecation and humour.

England is rightly proud of its status as the home of football. Why wouldn't they celebrate that history?

They have a football culture that is unrivalled anywhere in the world, with huge attendances and full stadiums all the way down the divisions, right down to non-league level, every single week during the season. No other country has anything close to that. Go to Italy or Spain or Germany and see how many people attend second division matches.

And it's a football culture that is followed religiously here. English football is Ireland's de facto national sport, like it or not. It's far more widely followed on a regular basis than either hurling or Gaelic football is.

Very disappointing to see Dublin play that shtye for the last 10 mins.   I'm getting g fed up with football, time to bring in some changes before the entire entertainment aspect disappears...

More disappointing from Donegal not trying to press them I would say

hadn't No issue with it, Dublin were playing keep ball to conserve energy for a tough game in seven days & Donegal hadn't the energy left at the end of a hard 70 minutes to go chasing round Croke Park after them on a warm evening for exactly the same reason.

This was a league game with nothing decided one way or the other, Donegal's target in the the Super 8's is to beat Roscommon & Tyrone while avoiding getting hammered against Dublin.

it's in dire state at county level. Club football can be very good though... we have a great championship in Tyrone. Can't wait

After the Meath game I thought Tyrone were brutal and going nowhere. There's been serious improvement since then and fair play to all involved. I don't think we'll beat Dublin next week but it will be a very competitive game which could be a big factor in the overall score difference.

If Tyrone lose to Dublin and Donegal beat Roscommon which they should it will come down to last game Tyrone V Donegal for second place to get to semi final. So unless that's a draw will not come down to point difference. Is how I read it anyway.

Dublin were totally right to play keep ball.

Why wouldn't you play the ball the around?

The only team wasting time was Donegal, and it was their own time they were wasting.

If Donegal want to waste two or three minutes of the time they have to get back into the game, that's not Dublin's problem at all.

What Dublin did was common sense, what Donegal did in not pushing up to try and get the ball back was idiocy.

At least we have the hurling to enjoy.

I like the Dubs but that was cynical muck
